# | Men's BBall ACC Tourney: VT (9-21) vs Miami (16-15) 3PM ESPN2 It bothers me when the controller loses the flow of the game, regardless of sport. It leaves you with a disconnected feeling for a few seconds. That or when they fail to get back from a commercial break in conjunction with game play and you miss something.
Probably not the right place to bring this up. But does it irritate anyone else when the camera follows the shooter down the court after a made basket when the other team is trying to bring the ball up the court. This is especially irksome when the inbounds pass is contested or there is a full court press.
Musburger is good when he's on his game. For the UVA game in 04 though, I could've sworn he got into some bourbon before kickoff. Although Gary Danielson was color for that game...maybe his incompetence was contagious.
This hot take of his aside, I think McShay and Jason La Canfora should have a contest to see who can say more untrue things.
CJ was still swollen as of a couple days ago, he is definitely done. Hopefully he recovers during the offseason as I think he was one of the better all around players this year and will probably be a starter next year. Smith definitely won't play, don't even know why they have him as questionable. I believe he is healthy, they just don't want to risk him getting hurt anymore. The name I'm surprised to not see up here is Emelogu as he still has a pretty bad limp and I'd imagine is just out there gutting it out at this point.
Of course you get downvoted - Key players will forever be pissed when people are honest about Logan's terrible play. Great point though.
It's hard to imagine good players staying 4 years anymore, unfortunately. Redshirting is a way for them to develop. Im willing to guess QBs grow more in their first year they all the others combined. Much harder to learn on the field. Freshman sensations like Johnny 'football' are a rare exception. Which leads me to my next point- Brewer was ranked 13th by Rivals coming out of HS. Johnny Manziel was 14th. GO HOKIES!

This is the best news ever. I would switch to other channels because of him.

I joined that line of thinking until I found out Brewer had no starting experience and marginally more in game experience. I though he played more than he actually did, but now I'm back to whoever manages to win it. If the Freshmen don't and redshirt, awesome. If one doesn't, awesome.
Now if the upperclassmen had more than one year left I'd be seriously wanting them to win it and redshirt the newbies. I'd rather the freshmen not redshirt and play for 4 years if they marginally beat out Brewer or Leal. I want to experience the nervousness of seeing a new starting QB as little as possible.
I would really love to see the ball handler look toward the basket after a pick. Defenses seem to double the ball handler and leave the pick man open many times. JVZ could pick up quite a few dunks if he gets the ball on the way back to the hoop after the pick.
Upper Quad just doesn't look right with Rasche completely gone right now.
This is a bit surprising considering just a couple weeks ago he told JJ he was leaving. Don't know if the recent playing time has convinced him otherwise, but it is nice to know he is coming back. Hopefully JJ will rotate him between the 3 and 4 spots next year. He's got talent, just needs to get his head in the right place.
