KMC3, Logandozing bitches all damn day. The oracle has spoken.

Brent has said that he looks to this as an opportunity to pursue his
lifelong dream of owning and operating a 5 star burger joint
just like Marky Mark. It will be of course called, " MusBurgers"

GO HOKIES!

I'm a bb season ticket holder and STRONGLY support that the students should have ALL the lower seats surrounding the court. I think the excitement in having the students support the team up close really does/would ignite the rest of the Cassell. Just look at the tradition Duke has. When I'm not attending a game I try to offer up my tickets for sale or to students, but all the empty seats this year made that impossible. When watching any of the games on TV, its sad to see our alumni fans basically sitting on their hands without any emotion. Any young bb prospects would surely be un-impressed with our support, winning or losing. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE put the students down lower and create some excitement. After all, the bb team are students, just like the Cassell guard. They should be down low surrounding the court screaming like banshees. All the alumni, young and old can be moved back up some rows to allow this tradition bloom and grow at Tech. IMHO, we need this to happen, ASAP!

Did he mention the play in that game where Logan blindly threw a pass while backpedaling into the middle of the field that would have embarrassed Aaron Brooks?

#4- BELIEVE IT!

as for Moorehead, within twitterville - anything goes. But I think since McShay did not 'tweet' this directly, going after him personally is out of line. Above all, its refreshing to see a coach step up and admit faults. Alot of coaches simply ignore criticism. Some could see it as 'class' to do so, but its also a cop out. (and even an EX-cop out) GO HOKIES!

I was happy to hear this. I think Musburger is past his prime. Can't wait to see who they match up with Herbie. Rece would probably be my pick. Does Fowler do play-by-play?

they did grow as a group and I'm genuinely excited to see what Josh Stanford does this season along with Willie Byrn! GO HOKIES!!!

Alright so here's my take:

1) For better or worse, all sports commentators are entertainers. They need to have a non-vanilla spin to their analysis for them to garner traffic. The rare exceptions are guys like French who's insight is so in-depth and unique that their work speaks for themselves. Most of them will speak in hyperbole or in Skip Bayless' case, loudly and illogically.

2) Was McShay's response tawdry? Of course. Was it based on a logical, coherent argument? Absolutely. The WR corps as a whole dropped way too many passes this year. They vastly improved throughout the year and showed the greatest amount of growth out of any position group this year. A lot of credit has to go to Moorehead for their improvement but he and the WR corps dropped the ball this year. They were awful in the Alabama game. A real argument can be made that they significantly contributed to the Duke and BC losses. Simply put, they need to get better.

3) I love that Moorehead responded back to McShay but I didn't like the way he did it. A few of you may remember that I didn't like how Shane shot back at Steve Fairchild before the UVA game. There's an art of dealing with criticism, especially with how widespread McShay's reading base is. I would have preferred a "motivation for spring ball" or "we're going to prove you wrong"-type of tweet instead of calling McShay an idiot. It comes off as childish and a little classless. Don't get me wrong, I love Aaron Moorehead and he's done an incredible job so far but he could of handled it better.

4) Look at the tape of the 4Q of the BC game. McShay isn't wrong, he's just an asshole.
