My absolute favorite part is at 1:33- Tweedy makes the tackle and the crowd ROARS

I hear what you guys are saying, but it just seems like something that should be done as a sort of sendoff for all the seniors. A meeting like that (as it appears to me, having never been involved, having graduated years ago, and living hundreds of miles away) seems to sort of tie a bow around their careers. And it happens the day before their careers come to a close.

You guys bring up good points, but it almost sounds like they get to the pie before eating dinner. (No cake is involved)

I'm good with all that, as long as they go with the College OT rules. The NFL's overtime is so far beyond STUPID, I don't see how anyone can follow what the hell is going on there.

Two problems:

SMU has money for days to outbid us. These are the guys that let so much money flow that they got their football program the death penalty.
He is already enjoying success at SMU. Currently ranked #18th. 23-7 so not a big reason to leave

One of the more telling quotes from Andy's interview:

AB: I think I've read that you're one of the smallest football staffs personnel-wise?

BF: "Yeah, and in my opinion, this is just my opinion, we need to catch up because of recruiting. Not so much the quality control guys and the football part of it, but in the recruiting part of it, that's where the Alabamas and even like Ole Miss, they've had the last two years, they've had two top-10 recruiting classes.

He's right.

Look at Ole Miss' support staff: http://www.olemisssports.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/m-footbl-coaches.html.

Corey Batoon - Assistant A.D. for Recruiting Operations
Barney Farrar - Assistant A.D. for High School and Junior College Relations
Tom Luke - Assistant A.D. for Player Development

I'm not sure if Tech has comparable positions on its staff. If they do, they aren't listed online or in the media guide.

Don't get how Gus earns 1 of the 2 qualifier spots for the league, yet he still gets seeded 3rd. In the end, won't matter since he'll probably would've had to beat Martinez either way, but doesn't make any sense to me. Unless there are extraordinary circumstances, like with Carter's situation, you would think if you earned a spot for the conference, you would just have to wrestle to your seed to make the NCAAs. Strange
