Alright, I'm not saying the sky is falling or anything, but this shit is REALLY starting to piss me off!
Not meaning to offend anyone or the OP. But

I was glad to read that there were a lot of fans there and it was loud. We have one of the best fan bases in the country in my opinion!

Hahaa. Puny little wahoos.

It's 11 months away from signing day, commitments/decommitments are meaningless at this point of the game.
Would love to have him, but you're absolutely right when you say Torrian will find the right guy if he decides not to come. On the other hand, all this on-off stuff is playing with my heart.
Well, Marcus Paige just ended any hope of that happening. Shooting Carolina out of the game.
Did we really need another reason to hate Romo? I mean hate Duke. What website am I on?
Duke is pulling a Romo right now.

I liked every VT headgear in this article.
Bitchin
I think Denard Robinson would have a slight disagreement with this. Shoot, on Hundley's longest TD run, Jack Tyler missed a wide-open tackle in the backfield. He makes that tackle and we're easily having a much different discussion right now.
That's 2 and it's only March.
Let Ohio State thinks that's a weakness.
See if they try to exploit it them introduce the counter as a trap.

Ashton White, a four-star defensive back from Bishop McNamara High School committed to Virginia Tech in mid-December, has decided to re-open his recruitment according to the Hokies 247Sports.com forums, and confirmed to me by White himself.

I liked the matte ,Aron but not the fighting gobbler nor the turkey tracks.
The Hokiestone is fine. I'd like it with the square root of 1 logo.
The fighting gobbler helmets were amazing and I refuse to listen or hear any argument about it....
I noticed that the hokie stone helmet they showed didn't have the logo as worn in the game (either the pylon logo or the VT logo). I thought it would have been better with a maroon stripe down the middle to mask the graphic seam.
Please, no black unis, though.
For a white-out helmet, I didn't mind this square-root-of-one logo version.

When I first read the article, I was expecting to see at least one of these on the list:

It wouldn't have surprised me to see the green camo or the orange lid either, but they weren't as egregiously ugly as the others.
I was not a fan of the turkey tracks. I was OK with the Fighting Gobbler helmet; it was kind of a cool retro look and I did like the matte finish. In the end, I really liked the Hokie Stone helmet. I liked what it stood for and the fact that it represented tradition in the University and tied into the foundation (literally and figuratively) of VT and its principles. Maybe anyone who didn't go to VT wouldn't appreciate that as much as the rest of us.
That said, I agree that we need to cut back on the different uniform combos and helmet designs. Stick with the maroon helmet with slant VT, and maybe one special one-off per year - I'm still on board for black unis on Black Friday, but otherwise stay true to brand identity and #ALLMAROONEVERYTHING for critical games (Miami on Thursday night - DO YOU HEAR ME MR. BABCOCK?).
ACC Champs!!!
I liked the fighting gobbler helmet we wore in the Russell Athletic bowl. I follow the lostlettermen and the guy that runs it on twitter and he is a complete douche in my opinion.

Denard wasn't this season.
I don't think Mason or I are disagreeing that Bud is awesome and genuinely the best. But there is a reason Andy is asking the question. Fact is last season for whatever reason, and not just because we missed a few tackles, QBs were able to run like crazy on our defense. I remember the game day threads and people commenting on it the whole game on multiple games. In fact the only game which I think it was mentioned in a positive was Pitt when Dadi was beast.
It's meant as no disparagement to anyone.
