# | Bitter blog - Q&A: Bud Foster talks about a trip to Ole Miss, a disappointing Sun Bowl and QB scrambles I had the same reaction to his scrambling qb comments. Foster definitely had a strategy for those match ups, but he has a history of getting burned by mobile QBS.
Foster is the best defensive coordinator in the country, no doubt in my mind. But factoring in the problems his scheme has had against scrambling QBs, just saying "we didn't tackle" or "the players didn't play there assignments" sounds a lot like "we were a block or two away". Sometimes, players don't make plays because they aren't placed in the optimal position.

In addition to Horses excellent suggestions, I would add in a provision that an early signing would be a 1-2 week process. This would help keep HS kids from being locked into an impulse decision.

What are the chances we can win a National title in wrestling this year? I honestly don't know a whole lot about the sport. I know we are really good and may possible win back to back ACC titles tonight.

We didn't even have AIM. The phone line for the single phone on the dorm floor ran through the ceiling of my buddy's room.
We tapped off it and attached a modem so we could dial into the school computer network.
It was a a lot easier than walking down to the computer lab to stand in line for a terminal.
You can have intelligent conversations with Michigan fans who attended the school. Walmart Wolverines (the large majority of Michigan fans living in the state of Michigan) are a different animal completely - most of them are lucky they can walk and chew gum at the same time.

What!? When? How & why???
This could be a very long recruiting season.
Highly unlikely. We were a top 10 team last year with a bunch of seniors, and now we've got a 10 point lead heading into the finals with a bunch of freshmen. We'll be solid (top 20-15), but I think it'll be a year or two before we're serious contenders on a national scale.
