Back then NFL didn't pay that well.
Can we field an entire team of QBs?!
I just watched some of the Texas Tech spring game and, not claiming any particular insight, a few things jump out at me:
He makes quick decisions and gets the ball off quickly when he decides where it's going. I know this is partly from the system at TT, but the kid makes his reads then-BOOM-here comes the ball.
He seems comfortable leaving the pocket and going lateral to get away from pressure and get the ball off. I didn't sense that 'Ohh Sh..., better run' from him-very controlled.
He threw a lot of short, quick patterns but the ball would be well-placed with a nice touch. None of these too-high, too-low, too-fast, too-slow passes to open receivers I had become used to seeing recently at VT.
Nice touch when he goes deep to lead the receivers.
I'm officially stoked.
Now, if he can develop some rapport with Morehead's crew, it could be something fun to watch.
Yes it did!
It forever scarred all of us Packer Backers
I still haven't gotten over that loss.
Yep.
Is that from the Fail Mary game?
More competition under center. Like it.
That boy definitely has a father pointing him in the right direction and I love it!

Haha. My username is too long. I approve the nickname.
The bottle has an excellent point here
And this is how people get into trouble...
JPJ was definitely loud yesterday but nowhere near as loud as Cassell was on 2/26/11.
I am shocked by none of this.
Yep, must be a cousin or his brother.
That's what happens when your favorite drinks are wine coolers and leftover Zima from the 90s.
It must be this guy, I saw that he tweeted him back.
@m_reyn6 watch out now but I'm proud of both y'all boys @MBrewer16 I expect big things outta both you clowns— #23 (@J_Reyn23) March 3, 2014
Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure a family member of Mook is a CB at Texas Tech.
Timely as always. And by timely, i don't mean in newspaper years but in internet years. You are a saint Bitter and I've clicked the link the number of times in direct correlation to my appreciation!
Perhaps this gives some breathing room for our excellent class of true freshman, perhaps not. Either way the coaches have some choices to make that are approaching a difficult but embarrassment of riches problem. As a manager of people myself, the hardest part is keeping everyone engaged, but this is the problem you want to have.
Dang, Mike Brews comin to Tech...lol the real Tech!!! #VT #Hokies— Mook Reynolds (@m_reyn6) March 3, 2014
Yes.
If he plays better than the rest of the guys, yes. Remember Leal and Motley have only had a year in Loeffler's system anyway, and I'm not sure he would run the same offense that he did with Logan Thomas.
It would be extremely alarming to me if that wasn't the case. Frank is a great head coach but I'm not sure anybody would confuse him for a QB guru.
Resuscitate!

Man oh man, the QB competition this summer is going to be brutal. But we absolutely need the best player at the QB position, so may the best man win.
