1) I'd say even Morris has evolved to the point where a high school QB's experience won't tell Bud a whole heck of a lot. Besides, odds are we won't even see Clemson while Brewer is with us and Morris is with them.
2) I doubt Lefty will change things up too dramatically. Obviously, things will be much different post-Logan, but I'm sure Lefty assumes Brewer knows how to turn and hand the ball off to a running back. The running game is still going to be priority #1, but it's nice that we have a QB coming in with a bit of experience in a college passing scheme.
Question for French (or anyone really) assuming this is true:
1) Given that Chad Morris is very shortly removed from coaching Brewer in High School and his offensive scheme has remained relatively the same structure, do you think this gives VT an edge against understanding Clemson should we happen to play them again before Morris bolts for a HC gig? or how happy does this make Bud?
2) Follow up, given Morris and TexasTech are known for high octane passing attacks do you see Lefty adjusting his offense to suit to play to Brewer's passing heavy offensive experience? The presumption being that he changed the offense to suit Logan and will do so for any QBs strengths.
This interesting QB competition got even more interesting. I'm glad that we won't start a true freshman next year, as this transfer all but guarantees.
I went to the concert at Burruss Hall several years ago (2009?). He mentioned a niece that was involved in cheer or dance team.
Nice one!
Andy says it?

Welcome to Hokie Nation, Michael!
Leal really has to be sweating now. Ford, Motley, Leal and Brewer to be competing for the starting role. I think now the others are looking at redshirting as a given.
Andy Bitter confirms
Talking to Michael Brewer right now. He's transferring to the #Hokies.— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) March 2, 2014
Was at the concert at the Roanoke civic cente last night. Darius seems like a genuinely nice guy that truly enjoys and appreciates the opportunity to play music for a living. Between songs he spoke a lot about how much family means to him and that country music really reflected that, and that's why he broke off from Hootie to pursue his solo career. Can definitely see why he and Frank would get along so well, they seem to have some pretty similar values
All your QBs are belong to us
According to Andy's post today (http://www.roanoke.com/sports/columns_and_blogs/blogs/andy_bitter_virgin...), Smiling is not returning this year.
Ah, I didn't see this until too late.
This would be a great day out on the field.
Go Hokies!
Your welcome. Timing is everything...
Thank you for showing me chucky while Im watching american horror story...
I hope it's true!
Andy, can you check on this and give us a heads up? Thanks

Dude!! That was fast! If we can trust this news then this weekend was huge to Brewer. This is the third leg in Lefty's QB plans per his Andy Bitter interview. Check that one off! Sweet!!
More support we give them = more four-star recruits we pull in #VTLAXGIRL #ALLTHELACROSSEBABES
I'm surprised they didn't go with LT simply because he would make for more interesting TV than several of these guys.
Rucker's daughter was a cheerleader at tech.
This reminds me of when one of my family members who is a big USCe fan and was golfing with his friends one summer (can't remember when, think it was 2-3 years ago) he and his friends got pulled over for one hole because Frank and Shane were golfing with Steve Spurrier and his son who I believe is a coach as USCe. Random thought but when you mentioned USCe it just reminded me of it haha.

I guess this is assuming he wins the starting job.
