Dr. Ballein would have made it work.

We will also have more attrition this year leading up to this coming Fall.

I depend on all of you savvy TKP'ers to post the good stuff 'cuz I don't need a twitter and I refuse to get one.

So conflicted, if anything would make me set up a twitter account this would be the reason.

Scout really is absolute garbage. The top two give honest evaluations, I think. The bottom two have realized that they'll get more page clicks if they rank certain schools classes highly. The middle is uninformed, but belligerent.

My Bonnie lies over the ocean...

The HT pep band sang this after every game when Bonnie was walking to the scorer's table for her post-game interviews. Yes, she would conduct us en route.

I think this is a terrific idea. FSU, GT, and Clemson already have standing SEC rivalries and it's easy to see why they are against play a 9-game conference schedule plus an SEC rival and maybe Notre Dame. That's an 11-game gauntlet even the best program would have a difficult time of going undefeated against.

However, what motivation would there be for the SEC to get onboard with this? What's in it for them?

Alabama just played at Duke recently...i think they are willing to take their teams into new markets to spread the brand, esp if it is against teams they consider "easy" wins.

I'll go one step further...

Five 'BCS' conferences, 14 teams each.

Each year there are Five 'Conference challenges' where teams play based on the previous year's finish. Each conference plays each other on a rotating schedule.

conference challenge

I know this will never happen, but this would be great. It will be much easier to rank teams (mathematically) and assess the strength of given conference. There will be many high profile games.

Per Michael Clark at Scout.com, Matthew Burrell, a top offensive tackle recruit rated as a four star by Rivals, will be at Virginia Tech on Saturday. Burrell is a 6'4 288 lb tackle from Woodbridge and is being recruited by Stacy Searels and Bud Foster. He has offers from Florida State, Alabama, LSU, Michigan and many others.

I think that type of dream is quite common and may be a manifestation of a fear of an unknown future ahead. I used to get dreams like that during my last two years at Tech because I had no idea what to do with myself after graduation (probably happened less than ten times). After the second or third one, I would quickly realize what was going on during the dream and try to make noise or scream to wake myself up. Fortunately, my vocal cords were still asleep so I would only make enough noise to wake myself and not scare the shit out of my roomates.
