I didn't down vote you but I read it that you thought winning a national championship was all that mattered even if we needed to cheat. Plus one on the original post to balance you out after the explanation.
Edit: for spelling error.
200% agree. I wonder why they don't invite him? Of course I'm sure now other coaches are using that against us in recruiting.
Unless he absolutely blows people away over the summer practices, I can't see Durkin not redshirting. We have Leal and Motley who are both not eligible for redshirts as well as Ford who will have a five month head start on Durkin.
That is also five months in the S&C program for those worried about his arm strength.
I think Wright gets a long look at RB. I don't know if he can run with it or not, but he looked good in the Sun Bowl and I think he will be given a chance.

# | Read and React: "National Signing Day: Cavs' Mike London looks beyond high school coaches to cultivate Virginia Beach pipeline" French's comments up above are my thoughts exactly...
Where does the income for this organization come from? They are traveling all over the eastern seaboard, wearing fancy uniforms, etc. Do they have a Nike deal or something? Unless that paper trail can be defined, I wouldn't want VT messing with it.
Also, for the record, it appears Tyrod Taylor is supporting a 757 7-on-7 league. In that case, Tyrod, being a millionaire, has probably fronted money in order to get the organization up and running and competing.
In all fairness to the ATL, there's a big difference between the mountains of SWVA and major metropolitan area in the South. Should it have been as bad as it was? No, but there was also no planning and no assistance from the Department of Transportation to clear or even treat the roads. It froze as soon as it hit and instead of telling everyone to go home, they waited until it was ice across all major roads. They see snow only once every couple of years so they often aren't as prepared and can't handle it. It was a mess, but it was caused just as much by the drivers as it was by the city and its officials.

That goes well with our Hybrid All-TE offense....
Maybe I'm having the wrong argument. If I am, I apologize. But "We had more players dismissed from the team throughout that era than we've had recently," seems to say it best. The one's that acted out too much, or weren't with the program got the can. You may recruit them thinking one thing, and learn later that's not the case, particularly during a time when behaviour and thoughts aren't out there for everyone to see. It's different now, and, even in trying to give kids the benefit of the doubt, or an opportunity to mature, they'll still get canned by Frank...maybe a little too late sometimes (as in CJ), but it's not like he lets that slide on his team.
That was so pathetic. In the meantime in SWVA we were getting 3-4 inches unexpectedly and we
managed just fine.
i wonder if kyle could sneak into the late first.
They may not have been completely, but back then when players got booted from VT, it wasn't big news. It was, borrowing from West Wing, thrown out with the trash.
The recruiting policy didn't change from then until now. As far as I know, we didn't have fake boosters, fake classes, paid teachers for passing grades for football stars, or anything like what other schools have gotten in trouble for.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think we also didn't have the 5 star recruits, or even a whole mess of 4 star recruits at the time.
I think its a bit extreme to say Ford has "significant arm strength issues".
So you are saying he is a significantly below average arm?
I hadn't heard that before...
Also benches 300 plus lbs and squats over 500lbs.
Thats pretty good for a high school QB!
We clearly have the best signing class in the nation because we are the only ones to boast a player with the same last name as one of Columbus' ships.... Cars, Trucks, Ships, Sandwhiches - our players last names rocks are awesome

You all forgot one. His name is Fordurkillian, I hear his odds are 3:2 as well
Lefty and Co are not offensive gurus in the sense that they are not running a cutting edge offense. But realistically there are what 3 or 4 coaches in football that are doing that? Lefty does however excel at understanding where teams weaknesses are and how to exploit them. I do fully agree that in order to exploit weaknesses you have to have the talent. The '14 class has multiple players that fit this billing. More so than in any one class Tech has had before.
#MANBEARPIG didn't get an invite to the combine? That, my friend, is bullshit.
I always called it rimball...
If you're telling me I'll be missing a few days of work next week - and I choose to believe you are - I should probably leave work early today to prepare.
Being #1 is no guarantee of a long NFL career.
