at fsu jerrigan has 2 gap responsibility and the rest of the front 7 had one, i think i read. i.e. fsu has a 1 and 2 gap dt, he can fit in there.
in this case ... there is no direct connection to this recruit.
No reason for the down vote!
Would have really boosted his draft stock as well. Could have been a starter in the NFL a lot sooner I think if he stayed another year
Do you think all these RB's with Edmunds, Mangus, Wright, Reid, Mckenzie, Williams, and Caleb slowly push Coleman out of the rotation? Is it just me or does anyone else think Coleman is the odd man out?
We also have an email/twitter account in the program that says something to the effect of if you have any suggestions or requests on how to make the game/experience better please contact us at _____
Jim Davis....FG blocking machine! And Jonathan Lewis, went to high school with him so had to give him some love
They do this for a lot of the olympic sports, so I don't see why they wouldn't extend it to basketball this season.
This is not a fair comparison. They take basketball like we take football. All they have to support at VCU is basketball. Yes, more fans would show up if we had a winning program but VT is simply not a basketball school.
When we have promotions students walk in, grab the free item, and then leave.
I know it's only a minuscule contributor to the problem but that seems like something easy enough to fix. VT soccer had fans wait until halftime to be eligible to claim the free stuff when they had giveaways.
I got a couple of those. Junior year at tech. Love that shirt and agree. Best one
Are we supposed to do it because they do, or not do it because they do? I'm confused but I think it should be the second one.
Per 247 Tech is out of the running. This sucks.
For season ticket holders.
Hokie Club members do select their tickets for Lane Stadium in order of ranking in the Hokie Club.
Well this really doesn't bode well. To put this into perspective Bud has been about as dead on with his predictions as you can possibly be. I'm not saying this is 100% or anything. But not good.

Kulwicki vs Waltrip will depend if they have the field centered or closer to one side or the other. If the field is centered both sides will be pretty poor from a game watching perspective. The oval track is a half mile around, meaning that people sitting in the first row of seats in Kulwicki or Waltrip will be a minimum of 125 yards from the 50 yard line. It will be a "have to be there game," not a terrific game watching experience game.
I guess that's part of the problem, I don't sit far behind y'all and haven't been hearing much. And frankly, a lot of the cheers that have existed are boring. I know this year is pretty challenging, but if you are still a general next year I'd love to see some new stuff.
Kudos for attending all the games. I don't think I could attend 16 straight losses including the women's team.
If I was your age, I'd be mounting every woman in Wabasha!
This NSD is like a continuation of the entire frickin season. Right down to the end.
One, who in this day and age could play on the line on both sides of the ball? Two, his skills align better to the OL than the DL. I think he's on the OL to stay.
You are right. Although most times a nose tackle is referred to teams that run a 3-4, 3-3-5, or a 50 look, many coaches use the nose tackle term for the one technique in a 4-3. It adds distinction from the other tackle. The term bull is used at times as well. Different coaches use different terms. I know many high schools that run the 3-4 base, but really are in a 50 look. They will have two inside backers with two outside backers up on the ball like standing defensive ends. However, high schools usually refer to them as strong safeties, whereas college and nfl teams would just say outside backers. Terms are used differently by level, as well as coaches preference.
Does this help? It's from the Battle at Bristol site itself.
