Looks like it was 9400 - one of my friends used to live in this building - we'd pactice shoot bow in front, right next to where the farm is.

Jay Payton is prepping, right? He's at some Atlanta Athletics facility, which I think is a new cross between a prep school and a gym/training program. I'm pretty sure he was a HS senior a year ago and didn't have the grades to garner any offers.

But his situation is unusual, I've never seen one like it.

I used to live on Foxtrail Lane... good ole Foxridge

One question I've always had is why not offer someone that we know won't qualify this cycle and have to prep like a Jay Payton? Is there a harm in doing so when both parties know that he will have to prep? It gives the prospect a goal during their prep year and it gives the school something similar to a greyshirt.

Am I missing something? Is it more complicated than this?

If these guys would simply endow the sports scholarships it would really do a lot for the athletic program. Other revenues would go a lot further if scholarships were already covered.

I'm not so sure it would be total rebuild for Shaka at VT. I think JJ has recruited a lot of guys that could fit his system. Van Zegren and Thompson are tall lanky centers that can run well. Emelogu and Devin Wilson are both tall and quick guys, Wilson fitting almost perfectly. Smart would have a lot of work to do on teaching defense, we don't seem to know what that is at this point.

That being said, I can't imagine we could get him. Would be great though.

Cause you know the "milkshakes and Kelis bring all da boyz to da yd."

You make valid points. I know this is an online forum but I guess I didn't realize how little people cared about grammar/spelling. I'm sure everyone in here would be able to tidy up their English if they were writing something professional. I have obsessive compulsive tendencies and I suspect that contributes to why certain missuses draw reactions from me.

My English isn't perfect by any means. I'm not trying to set myself up above anyone else. I didn't major in any sort of degree that is heavy on language. However, for some reason, there are certain things that just make me twitch. I usually try to ignore it but when I see it over and over and over I have trouble fighting the urge to correct it.

I don't mean to offend. I'm sorry if I did.
