My high school football team played their rival town on Thanksgiving on the nearby universities field every year.
On the flip side, there's probably a lot of people who would almost be willing to pay to be able to work that day if it keeps them away from crazy relatives.

That's a great point.

I think the hardest part about a Turkey day game would be all the unsung heroes that would be called in to give up their (family) holiday to support all the hundreds of jobs that go into having a football game. Much less us coaches, players and fans who really enjoy the event.
You think? I'd love to spend all day tailgating on thanksgiving. Sounds better than the alternative. I feel like the egg bowl and Texas vs tamu frequently sold out thanksgiving day games, but maybe I'm misremembering?
I went to a backyard brawl on thanksgiving and it was packed
Stadium would be empty if it was on Thanksgiving

@SMU was the additional game, which was easy to tell because it was an away game.
The sneaky move was swapping out NC State for Stanford as one of our home games. That doesn't make sense, considering that all they needed to get a ninth game was count the uva game as a conference matchup.
Judge has recused himself. Bet he wishes he had never heard of Bediako
Not until we start playing on Thanksgiving Day, then the tradition you'd feel strongly about is beating UVA....
Not a bad plan. I once had the carb on my generator fouled by a little piece of pine needle in one of the inner ports.
Pain in the ass to find when you're already in the dark.
Lots of this.
Hard to know what his work ethic is like, so I don't want to knock him for that, but beyond his poor 3 Pt shooting he's also only 68% from FT Line.
For a guy who has a really clean stroke, that suggests to me that maybe there isn't so much extra time going in to fixing issues.
At this point, he's really just Schutt with a worse 3-point percentage. He's a better passer, but doesn't slash or create shots for others, and when he's not making anything from the outside he's just a floor-spacer who no one has to respect. He's not a good defender, and isn't reliable to handle the ball late in games.
It's just a mess at this point, and he doesn't look anything like the guy from the Providence game.
Hoping that somehow I light comes on, but as things are I don't see Neo back in Blacksburg next year and I don't think the NBA is going to be realistic either. The NBA definitely has room for "3 and D" guys (but not as lottery picks)...but as is, Neo is a no 3, no D guy....
I see him likely in the Portal this offseason
Has anyone considered telling them to stop it?
For whatever reason when I read "Every Fam Time" it reminds me of this....

I still think he's not in game shape. He plays well early (and played well early in season) and then starts missing shots, playing slow and making bad decisions. Guy has dead legs late in the games. Off season training is the only cure. But meantime, play him early and give him extended breaks (especially when it's back and forth or high paced games).
I think CMY keeps encouraging him and hoping he will play out of the slump. He has done that with other players. But Neo seems to be not listening or adapting.
I've always thought a thanksgiving day game would be fun. But my family doesn't have any thanksgiving traditions we feel strongly about.
I'm tempted to just get a 2nd carb. Then I'll have a spare on hand to swap out when I need to and can then clean the fouled one when it's warm enough to leave the garage door open.
I didn't watch!

Everyone. Because schools, conferences, coaches, and agents had already taken that mile.
