Sorry coaches can only do so much on helping a shooter in live action. I would like to see a day in the life of Neo to see if he is really putting in the work to correct shot deficiencies. They are putting him in position to get wide open looks and he flat out misses. Last night, the airball was the pinnacle.

He was shooting 37% from 3 in OOC play. He has shot 19% in conference. In a perfect world, its just him going against better talent but it hasn't been the defense forcing misses, its just been Neo taking bad shots. He also seems to be allergic to going inside. When he got that dunk early, I thought maybe we will finally see some tough takes. Alas, 1/6 inside the perimeter and 2/9 outside. For a 6'9 guy that's a bad ratio to begin with even if you are hitting a few. Only part I dont understand is why the coaches keep giving 27+ minutes per game.

The issue of not being able to get the scoring inside allows teams to sag off him a bit and they are letting him have the three counting on it being a miss. It let's them give help defense in the paint and makes it harder for Hansberry/Lawal/Gurdak to get space.

Like watching a narrowly avoided crash in slow motion

Can confirm. Here in Midlothian my street is basically an ice rink. The main streets are fine but very few people can get to them as the neighborhoods are all ice.

I have a coworker that lives in the city and her street got plowed but when they came back and plowed the two abutting cross streets, it left giant piles of snow that melted a bit and then re-froze so her neighborhood is effectively blocked in by ice walls.

Reports from NC of folks already finding cold stunned speckled trout in the creeks. They have another storm coming this weekend.

Kind of scary that we struggled to put away a Quad 3 team when four of the next five are Quad 1. Be ready for some heartache.

That said, they pulled it together enough to get the win against the fake Tech. FAM!

It's the inch of sleet and ice compacted down that is the issue in VA. Here in Richmond metro, neighborhood streets are mostly still sheets of ice and likely to only get sanded and chemicals for transaction. Temps not getting above freezing during day and dropping to single digits each night means whatever tiny melt occurs refreezes every night. (Normally VA doesn't get this prolonged extremely cold weather after snow/ice storms so melting is done in few days.

Oh and another chance for eastern and central NC/VA snow this weekend-though exact path of the low will be critical in who if anyone gets snow and how much. Very much boom/bust with even a 20-50 mile variation in the track!

This is the main reason we are so low in the NET rankings I believe. The margin of victory plays a key role in the analytics so when we win these close games instead of winning by 10 or 15 it actually hurts our tournament chances greatly

I was joking but hooray! I am hoping we can just have a "Every FAM Time: XXX Edition" as we continue to win games in this manner.

WTF is our team's Game Closing Strategy? Is there one? Damn! Stop this BS!

Unfortunately its not. Yes its a win but because it was a Quad 3 game, the metrics really needed us to win by 10+. We had that until we gave it away again.

Unfortunately the losing streak did not continue. Missouri falls 90-64.

Bediako had 14 points, 6 rebounds in 18 minutes. So far 27 points in 43 minutes....color me shocked that a guy that has been playing G League and practicing with NBA guys has had his best two game production for Alabama ever. /SSS

Love how this team likes to build a lead, then give the other team a bit of hope by burning up most of that lead in the final minutes, only to then crush them by hanging on for a 1-2 score victory! Let's go FAM!

Is it stressful? yes, its not ideal. But a win is a win is a win.
