Nope but we could poach Isaiah Ford and I'd be happy with that, especially if we nab Minor and Nnadi as well.

I'm excited, but I'm also worried about LB position.
I might be a little more stoked if it was 4* LB.

In this particular case, no, but he's done that exact move several times in his film. He definitely has the ability to move the safety with his head and shoulders and then throw to the open part of the field that said safety just vacated.

I'd look at the Wichita St coach but I think 1) He'd be more happy/successful where he is and 2) If he did move on it would be to a bigger program.

It would be a very VT move to go after Dino Gaudio, former Wake coach.

Yes, easier path to playing time is a big factor for us, but I doubt that offering McKenzie would hurt us there. Those two have completely different body types and styles of play. McKenzie is more of a slot receiver and Harrison is a big-play guy on the outside. McKenzie just doesn't have the body to go up and win jump balls on the sideline or in the endzone and that's what we're recruiting Harrison to do.

Yes and yes. This kid in the slot with Harrison on the outside.... yeesh. That's how you get big plays: put two big-time playmakers with vastly different styles right next to each other and force the defense to pick their poison.

So what happens if we dont offer IM and javon flips to fsu at last minute on signing day. Then we miss out on both. Good players arent scared of competition. Good teams also offer as many as possible. All the big time schools do it so why not us? But i definately dont wanna be the disgruntled fan at the end of signing day if that happens and we miss both

I disagree. I think one of the big leverage points we have with Harrison is that he has an easier path for early playing time compared to FSU. If we keep adding big time WR prospects, that's no longer the case.

I am hoping spring practice shows us that his injury is healed.
I am curious as to Sobczak's chances of breaking the 2 deep as well. He seems like the ultimate sleeper ala Maddy.

I think he would help our returb game alot. And after seeing the break down of andrew ford on here id love to see this kid in the slot

Wow, I'm shocked he doesn't have an offer right now. He looks like what Frank would call a three-play guy. His acceleration once he squares his shoulders to the endzone is ridiculous. On those screens, returns and any time he gets to the edge, his first two-three steps upfield are insane. Guy's at a full spring after about 2 yards. The one thing that does concern me is his tendency to David Wilson it a bit, especially on punt returns. Pretty sure he gave up about 20 yards on a couple of them before busting big plays. That won't work at all in big-boy football. Still, he's a great athlete and tends to catch with his hands. I'd be ecstatic if we offered and he committed.

I think my first call would be to try and find a way to lure Shaka to VT. Not saying it is realistic but if he wanted to inject excitment and pick this program off the mat then he has to think big.

If we get a group of QBs, the depth chart will materialize and then guys will transfer, change positions, or just get a free education and move on. We will take whatever top talent we can get especially for the QB position.
