My reaction to Thursday night home games.
Also, I'm a fan of starting off with cupcakes before getting to the serious games. All this opening the season with a tough opponent stuff isn't for me. I'd rather us get a chance to get our heads in the season against a cupcake, then get down to business.
Speaking of TE's...Don't forget...Bucky Hodges is already 7 feet tall...he will be great at blocking kicks also.

Not sure that its a guaranteed night game. Times won't be set up until two weeks before. unless ESPN exercises their 6 day option. If VT is sitting at anything below ten wins, and UVa is being UVa then it'll more likely be an afternoon game.
Iron Bowl was Friday for several years a few years ago. IIRC it was a 3:30 CBS game during those years.
Iowa @ Nebraska was a Black Friday 2013 nooner.
Miami @ Pitt was at 3:30.
I think the Iron Bowl was at 6.
Don't know what I was thinking. Arkansas-LSU was the only SEC game. I knew there was a high-profile rivalry game that night, but it was Oregon State @ Oregon.

Eh, my interactions with all but 2 people in and around Heinz Field proved WVU right. They aren't battery-throwing couch burners like 'neers, but they would rather harass you than cheer for their own team.
I'm not a medical person or anything...but it does fascinate me how so many of these surgeries can go on and hardly anyone stopped and though, wait, what's this thing doing here, I haven't heard about this?

The way WVU fans treat everyone, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a little payback when WVU comes to Pitt, especially with the added intensity of a rivalry game. I'd take an 'eer's opinion on Pitt fans with a large grain of salt.

Students, GO TO EVERY GAME. This schedule really makes it easy. No @ BC or @ Da U. Skip class, go to Pitt during the week. Going to away games are fun.
