Hah! I'm from WV and I tell people the same thing. GWHS '95. We used to go to games versus Dupont and just watch Moss and Williams ball out. Talk about men amongst boys. When I was at GW we could barely field a football team. Our punter was also our QB and Moss was the return guy for Dupont. At one point during a return Moss hurdled our 6'4" QB. Just insane.

From what I've read/heard, Fisher's paperwork is in the process of being gathered up and submitted to the NCAA Clearinghouse. Those folks are notoriously methodical, so don't be surprised if Fisher doesn't arrive at Tech until this coming summer.
By the way, all kids planning to play any sport as a scholarship athlete or walkon have to submit their paperwork to the NCAA Clearinghouse. That paperwork has to be accepted before they can actually play.

The main source in the Holland Fisher forum seems to be Cequan Jefferson's tweet. I can't find another source on Fisher qualifying.

Those three teams went to bowl games. UT, UK and Arky were the dregs of the SEC. His line against Vandy is probably equivalent to those three teams and UF lost that game.
I'm not terribly impressed by him or his experience.

It's very hard to be the Cinderella team in football - that it took the most physically gifted QB to ever step on a college field and a whole lot of luck shows just how hard it is to play with the big boys.

Jefferson enrolling/not enrolling has not been confirmed yet, so could be 18 available. I think you'll see some attrition with a few players not getting scholarship renewed.

We'll have 82 (# of scholarships given) - 14 (# of seniors graduating) - 2 (Kris Harley leaving, Cequan Jefferson not coming) = 66 scholarships already spoken for...19 available to give to 26 guys coming in (including the prep school guys).
Wait...do we have a legit source on Fisher qualifying or is this based on the hacked Cequan Jefferson account?
