uh... Do you mean my Wilson/Wisconsin post? Or the mysterious down vote I got for the post you replied to? If the latter then not sure what the joke was as I was trying to be serious. Anyway, no worries

UCLA really "Taurus" a new one in the Sun Bowl....we could really use Ford.

Look's like Shane's boxing glove on a pole approach worked.

Edit: Just saw that AZ_Hokie beat me to the punch on that

Great place to visit, not the best place to live IMO. I always go up to visit friends for a long weekend or two. Get some weird looks when I wear my VT stuff.

All that being said, good to hear there are quite a few WV TKPers. By my calculations, I taught almost 400 students while a GTA/Instructor at VT and not one was from WV.

My guess is that the first time he ended in a Heap he wouldn't want to play anymore.

Yeah. I'm one of the lucky. It's definitely a different world all together compared to Blacksburg.

I haven't heard anything saying it was unlikely for Harrison...What are you hearing??

From time to time there are VT related functions here... very few unfortunately... but sometimes new students going to attend VT are there asking all sorts of questions. Prof Chang has been mentioned as someone they should seek out if they need help. Never met the guy myself but he seems quite the educator.

I will always remember the VT BCS era Sugar bowls for inexplicably turning down points to for it on 4th and short early in the game and poor special teams play. Seriously, something happens to Beamer when he goes down to N.O.

Total yardage:
2000 sugar bowl VT - 503 FSU - 359
2005 sugar bowl VT - 375 Auburn - 299
2012 sugar bowl VT - 377 Michigan - 184

Well deserved. I will discuss it as the spring progresses, but you can point to the moment where the Hokies couldn't align Kendall on the slot, Kyle to the boundary, and Brandon to the field as the moment where the Hokie defense lost it's way this season. When Bonner had to move to the slot, Foster was forced to play Jarrett as a normal deep safety along with Clark and Frye, both of whom were lost most of the time. Without Jarrett as a mobile playmaker in the box, the Hokies lost the extra man who they counted on to make plays against mobile quarterbacks. The effect was telling. Development of a player like a Chris Hill who can play the boundary and let Kendall move back on the slot will be a major issue to watch in the spring.

Very nice read Andy, a very tough read at that. It stings looking back on those losses and seeing how close we were to being 5-1( our team was not ready to play Stanford) but we held our own in the rest of the games. It's hurts even worse listening to jumbo fisher and Gus talk about how their players make the plays when they are in a tough spot and being comfortable in game wining situations, championship situations that is. I really hope we can shake off the big game struggles and finally fill that trophy case one day.

Prince Parker as well.

I agree with you there. I'm far from a Steelers fan but I think he could really fit in there. Nay-sayers, who did Big Ben play against and beat in college at Miami University? I'm not sure Logan's and Ben's competition in college are comparable.
