damn if this game is cold pizza what is a VT game? I mean, let's be honest, I love VT but the games aren't really what I would categorize as exciting. I love great defense, and defense is 'boring'. And, unfortunately, our offense has been pedestrian for the last several years...so that doesn't yield 'exciting' games

Reflecting at the half: I think that this game is a classic example of what people say about both teams. OSU is winning, but its boring. Clemson was leading handily, and found a way to Clemson and let OSU take the lead before the half. I think the Sugar Bowl was a Chipotle burrito; and this game is more like a cold pizza. I'm still gonna watch, but I won't be as satisfied.

We haven't seen great linebackers at VT in 5 or 6 years, and the defense has suffered for it. I think his recent change back to the 46 alignment may have been due to coverage liability of the LBs.
I've heard that the gap-fit scheme that Foster used to run was hurting the recruiting; I wonder if the 46 scheme is expected to fix that too?
I agree with your point, but Ford is actually pretty highly rated on 247sports; you were looking at the composite ranking which takes into account useless recruiting services like ESPN. He is actually 18th pro-style on there.

Oooo I think he'd do so well in Kelly's system. That being said, if I'm Kelly I'm perfectly happy with Foles after this season. I know he's unlikely to fall to the Eagles but Sammy Watkins is the number one guy I go after if I'm Chip Kelly.

I don't think that's absolutely necessary. The RB coaching position is seen as pretty much the entry-level position on a college coaching staff. Besides, if they did move Shane, they'd have to fire someone else to make room for the new coach.
