2015 will be a bellweather.
If we don't pull an ACC title out of these guys and our coaches, I don't know when the next time we will.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my fellow Hokies!

Great pickup for hokie nation can't wait to watch him play!
it wouldn't show up as blurred on my step moms iPad but my dad's Mac with safari works
If he gets an offer.
I think Payton has had some qualifying issues, which is why VT hasn't given a commitable offer yet. Bronson is likely to commit on his official visit in January.
i know all signed last year and tech usually retains its verbals any one have any #s on this?
There is always decommitts too, these kids are never 100% until they sign on the dotted line
We have 24 recruited so far for 2014, BUT - four have already enrolled and will count toward the 2013 Class. They don't count toward the 25 limit on Signing Day.
So, that leaves 4 remaining slots, BUT - a few will prep/greyshirt, and will count toward the 2015 Class.
And there will be more attrition before this coming Spring and next Fall.
To make a long story short, we have the room to take the rest of our primary targets.
Have to look forward. WVU has a larger fan base like or not and name recognition. Plus, they are the Hatfields to Tech's McCoys. Doubt it will happen anytime soon but much better rivalry than playing teams like rutgers cincy louisville, pitt, ecu, western carolina upstate, directional mich teams, adams college, patron saint of the worthless miracle's school of typewriting and 'internet'-tiquite.......
If the ACC wanted WVU in 2011, they could have had WVU. They didn't want them. Neither did the SEC. The Big 12 took them because they needed a 10th team and picked WVU over Louisville. Whoops. WVU stabbed VT in the back in the 90s in the Big East. Letting WVU into the ACC now would be doing them a huge favor and I don't want to help them. They made their bed.
fat figured upvote...my bad
you're not wrong
It certainly isn't. What browser is everyone else using?
I haven't followed recruiting for that long, but this seems to be one of the better recruiting classes. I could be wrong but I like it.
the talent is there...lets see what the coaching produces ... GO HOKIES!!!!
I have said since the staff changes, 2016 is the year that is make or break. This class is impressive so far.
The 'n' feature is something that I always wanted but never knew I wanted.
Thank you, Joe Claus!
UPDATE: According to my calculations, these are our remaining 2014 targets (let me know if I missed any):
Derrick Nnadi, DT
Raymon Minor, LB/S
Anthony Scott, RB
Isaiah Ford, WR
Kevin Bronson, DE
Jacorien (Jay) Payton, LB
Minor and Nnadi being the top two of course. We haven't offered Bronson or Payton, and I doubt Scott will commit now that McKenzie has. 247 lists VT as Payton's top offer, but we have yet to offer him as well.
If we get Nnadi and Minor, not only will that just about reach our cap for this class, but I won't feel bad at all if we miss out on the others.

Maybe that's it. I'm rocking the Firefox.
