One guy mentioned him, but a bunch of guys were high on Barrett. And yes that quote was referenced too. lol
I guess it's sort of like us debating about Leal/Motley/Hodges/Ford. No one will know until spring or possibly next fall about who will start.
you never go "all-in"
It never works.
Every generation has their stories, the good ones are usually rehashes of the same ones that have captured the imagination of previous generations for centuries.
If you look in the mirror and say Sam Roger's name forty-five times, he'll appear behind you and throw a football through your chest.
What about Cardale Jones? We know he didn't come to tOSU to play class.
Alabama fans to Texas fans

This thread and the old conversations about the 4 team pods got me and a friend thinking (and procrastinating) last night, figured I'd share here since I really liked the idea. Take the 4 team pods that you play every year, and in order keep from losing some of the traditional rivalries add in a permanent crossover game that you play every year. We'll also add a team that you play twice every three years. The rest rotate every three years, so teams never go more than 3 years without playing someone.
We added Navy as the 16th team in order to fill the market being vacated by Maryland, and in an attempt to make Notre Dame happier with becoming a full member. Not endorsing the Navy part of this as much as the schedule idea.

1st year schedule:

2nd year schedule:

3rd year schedule:

Watching (I think it was a 30 for 30 film) a documentary about him, every defensive player just talked about how Barry would just juke you out of your socks and score and then jog back to the sideline like it was a drill in practice. No fanfare, no trash talk. If you tackled him, he would pop up and run the next play. Sportsman of ALL TIME!!!
Thank you!
I don't like Harry Potter. And I am of that generation who "grew up" with the books. Read the first one, wasn't impressed. Never understood the huge obsession with it really... Its not like it's a really unique story or anything.
Saban just signed a multi-year extension at Alabama. That part of this story is officially and completely dead.

Or you don't know enough, they're a great set of books.
Sounds like he wants a quarterback and 10 wideouts.
A fly swatter.
(I've only been to El Paso once, and pretty much all I remember are the flies.)
Month of the month?
I looked up the defensive stats for the ACC last year. Top three defenses (FSU, VT, Clemson) combined for 1 defensive TD.
Bottom three (Duke, Wake, Miami) combined for 4.
I think we need some luck.
I think defensive touchdowns are more created by the opposing offense rather than the defense. They have to make a mistake, in their half of the field, with most of the offense down field from the play. I don't really see a correlation from the TDs/stature of the defense. Maybe by players though - Macho and Jayron accounted for a ton of these. I could see Kendall, with his return and offensive skills, maybe being a player that can score some defensive TDs.
Defensive Touchdowns by Year:
2013: 1
2012: 0
2011: 0
2010: 2
2009: 1
2008: 3
2007: 4 (4 different players, BTW)
2006: 2
2005: 5 (5 different players)
2004: 4 (4 different players)
2003: 4
2002: 3
2001: 3
2000: 2
1999: 3
1998: 4
1997: 1
1996: 1
1995: 4
1994: 1
Yeah I get it, but that made the let down worse. Just be truthful.
My offense. Straight T with a power lead as the bread and butter. Run a version as the dive on a triple option. Run the other as a belly and a bootleg. Add a power sweep each way, a counter each way, and a bootleg each way. The offensive line is in four point stances and gets off the ball, or I will find someone who will. Your halfbacks have to be bad ass blockers. Run it until they stop it, and then keep running it.
Fiskars

Grey area.
He is really quick in tight spaces. I will be doing a more detailed film review on Williams, Ford, and any other enrollees once they are in school.
Another future Hokie in the NFL.
They may have the horse shoe but we have a horse on a treadmill.
