OK... that would be fine with me but I'm not at all interested in basketball.
I do think there are inherent problems in comparing/equating hoops and football though.
You could also look at it and say "at least one of my teams is guaranteed a win!"
As far as TEs go, look for Bucky Hodges to make the move to TE permanent. He's played the position more than a few times on the scout team and has looked very good. A reasonably fast 6'6" athletic TE could be very dangerous in Loeffler's offense in the Red Zone, and in the open field after catching the ball. He needs to put on some solid muscle-weight during the off-season, but he can be a real mismatch against shorter DBs and LBs.
So, think about this as a TE rotation - Cline, Malleck, Hodges, Redman, and the incoming Xavier Burke, if he doesn't redshirt.

Every other major championship is determined by splitting teams into groups and having the winners of both groups play each other at the end.
If you want the chance to play in that championship game, beat everyone else in that group. Or at least beat more people in that group than everyone else.
Clemson didn't beat FSU, so they weren't able to play in Charlotte. Yes, they're probably better than Duke, but Duke did what was required - they won more games than everyone in the Coastal.
Kyshoen Jarrett's middle name is "Freedom"... That's pretty fuckin awesome IMO
He's got to be good for VT.
Just check out his initials.
Your apologizing for one of my ideas? I'm confused...
What is so hard taking the top 2 teams in a conference to put into a conference title game. Isn't that what we are kind of doing now? It's not based on polls or human voters trying to decide who is the best. Its overall conference record based.
Can't wait for double TE sets where both TEs are blocking AND receiving threats.
BOOM!
That was what the BCS was trying to accomplish. The only reason that the SEC is perceived as favored is because of SoS.
Supposedly, he was promised he'd get to play RB, even though he's listed as an RB/LB. Our depth in the backfield is about to get stupid crowded. Not trying to sound like a UVa fan, but there will be five 4-star athletes competing for playing time next year at RB (Trey, JC, Joel, Marshawn, DJ). What are this kids chances/Is DJ Reid expected to play LB?
Holtz makes any name other than John or Bob an adventure!
I'm saying you can see VT score best viewpoint, from their backfield at both endzones from there.
^^^^ winner winner chicken dinner
He's roasting so hard right now!
Malleck's loss was absolutely huge. TE blocking should look a lot better next year with him back and Cline coming off an offseason in the weightroom and the additional pre-bowl and spring practices.

This is a victory for the good in college football, because hopefully Bama will no longer be sniffing around the MNC year after year after year.
As profitable and well funded as the UL athletic department is I would think they'd be able to match almost any SEC program's salary offer to Strong and his assistants... Maybe I'm delusional though.

Wonderful Terrific Monds II
Those are the first two that popped in my head. I'm sure there are more.
Can you imagine Lou Holtz trying to pronounce his name?
Do we have any maroon pants that will effectively hide his thunder?

So are we going to make him TT2 and Tyrod TT1? Like MV2 and MV1?
