Does anyone know why college doesn't match the NFL here? I've never understood the immediately down rule

You forgot Rogers is Freshman.
Shhh whispered so he didn't hear. Don't want to piss him off. You saw what he did to the bus stop.

A lot if fear in that hate. If Shane continues the Beamer legacy, they are screwed for another whole generation.

I'd jump at the chance to play FSU, just sayin'

If them getting rectum violated by fsu and whoever they play in their little bowl is fun then let the have it and take it.

Why such hate? Let them have their fun. I'm upset one of their 10 wins came against us, but I don't have any exceptional ill will

Its better than the Diamond Walnut Classic we used to be tied into but as a plus it does expose us to some of the local Texas market....never hurts to make some recruiting in-roads in Texas

And now this year -

VT 8-4 and playing in a bowl game
UVA 2-10 and not playing in anything but puddles after it rains

That seems more plausible, realistic and closer to the storyline.

Does anyone else feel like we were toying with the hoos the whole game? We didn't put the game away, but did try a lot of new and trick plays (i.e. Sam Rogers)

I have zero sympathy or respect for Dook. They should be thankful they even have a winning record. Hope they get obliterated (which they will) by the Noles and whoever they face in their silly little bowl. Next year I expect us to curbstomp them back into oblivion.

I think the losses stung bad and thinking back, we had a great shot at the ACCCG. However, I like to look at things from another perspective. We had a 2 win improvement from last year, and beat teams we lost to last year (unfortunate to lose to teams we shouldn't have though). But the future is bright. Trey Edmunds, Cline, Stanford, McLaughlin, Kendall Fuller, and Facyson amongst others were all freshman or R-Freshman. All these guys played a major role to this team, and it'll be exciting to see them develop their game more. There will be major question marks next year, the biggest ones being QB, the D front 7, and special teams (pretty much everywhere except for AJ Hughes). But the core is solid, and the future is bright for the Hokies

I don't think it was either, but it was close enough that a review wouldn't have overturned whatever they called on the field. I did think it looked like there was some space between his knee and the ground though.

Yes, but the refs intention remained the same.

  1. Alabama
  2. FSU
  3. Mizzou
  4. Auburn
  5. OSU
  6. NIU (the deserve a mention, the teams they've played aren't much worse than OSU)

If I were a BCS voter, I'm not sure I'd vote in this order, but if I were a gambler picking a winner in a random game, I would be most confident in Alabama winning, least confident in OSU.

if auburn beats mizzou, i will move them to 2.

Possibility of some interesting rematches - vs USC or UGA.

Vision. That would be the key trait to look for in a RB with our scheme. Not just speed or power or strength. The ability to see/find the best holes and burst through.
