RB position for next year:
Trey Edmunds, JC Coleman, Chris Mangus, Joel Caleb, DJ Reid, Marshawn Williams, and others?

I'm in favor of having a couple of bigger backs wear down the defense, so my fingers are crossed for a 1-2 punch with Edmunds and Shai McKenzie next year.

Also wondering why The Beast formerly known as Sam Rodgers doesn't get touches from the RB position. He has the pass blocking and catching ability out of the backfield to line up in shotgun formations, and, as evident in yesterday's game, the coaches trust his athleticism enough to have him run reverses on kick return and reverse passes.

where's the gif of tariq bulldozing that hoos olineman on his way to bulldoze lambert towards the end of the game? that play got me pumped.

This isn't how the standing will end up but it's how I think the teams should be ranked.

I think you're spot-on about where these ACC teams land. While I'd be thrilled for VT to land in ATL, I have to say -- it'll be a shame Duke isn't better-rewarded for the great season they've had.

I think the CFA will pick us because their money is tied in to ticket sales, whereas the farther away bowls are gonna get their money through the TV draw (and right now Duke is a bigger TV draw than us). But really, the top 5 bowls this year all look like they'll end up with some fun match-ups. I think we're gonna end up with a more exciting match-up than an 8-4 team deserves.

The difference is that Ohio State had a close game against an unranked, 7-5 team and Auburn had a close game and won against the #1 team in the nation.

Do we think they have already reset the countdown clock in the locker room? Only 364 more days until another episode of crushing disappointment!

Anyone been over to La Sabwah? I'd imagine it's pretty entertaining.

After the play I was thinking that if that TD stood you guys on this site would have broken the internet.

Trey's injury is devastating for the bowl game, but I saw JC make some tough physical runs.

I'm thinking VT ends up in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl against Georgia.

...Logan Thomas gave it his all and is a MF-Hokie.

Not a bad job considering we had an offense comprised of:
walk-on fullback
walk-on wide receivers
a LB playing RB
a TE playing QB
a TE playing his second year of football ever
an assortment of Linemen that weren't even sure which position they would be playing until the season started
and youth all over the place-6 starters sophomore or younger!

Great effort by the players and a helluva coaching job.

Why do we even have a tie in with the Sun Bowl. Makes no sense.

Didn't they just rule that Logans knee was down, not call it back from holding?
