It's really annoying that I thought we'd finally have depth after 3 years of going 8 deep at most, and then two key contributors from last year refuse to play (Rankin and Raines). We'll see what happens with Raines, hopefully he learns and puts it behind him. We can't afford to lose depth considering our obvious lack of talent.
Hopefully third time's the charm against FSU. UVA plays Michigan tonight and UNC/UCLA is tomorrow to determine the last of the final four.

He was pulled for not hustling and then refused to go in when JJ was going to put him back in. That is why he didn't play the second half or today. He still practiced with the team Wednesday so hopefully that means it was just a one game thing and he will be back next Tuesday for Winthrop.

Didn't get to see the game. What was his mistake Tuesday? All I can see is that he played for three minutes and got one rebound.
Solid effort from the majority of the team. Hopefully Ben heals up soon, they need him in the rotation. It's clear Cadarian needs to learn from his mistake on Tuesday and move on, because with the way fouls are going to be called this year, we need as much depth as possible. JVZ had a pretty good game hustle wise, but getting fouled out against a team that he outsized by at least 4 inches and only scoring 1 point, just shouldn't happen. Greg Donlon with a nice little shot at the end. It's nice to see guys like him not only have a chance to get in a game at the end, but also knock down shots.
Haha I guess technically mop-up duty is the point in the game when the result of the game can't realistically be changed. Which honestly is probably the last 3 quarters of every UVA football game.
The good times started at "buy this guy a bourbon" and they never ended. There are definitely some columns I loved this year I'll miss the hell out of if they don't continue next year!

I always thought mop-up duty came when your team is winning late in the game.
Logan just needs to take care of the ball and get rid of it when nothing is there instead of taking a sack. That's all he needs to do for us for us to win this game. We would have won the UMD game but instead the big momo held on to it like a baby to a mother's teet.
