UVA is just THAT BAD.

Against Virginia, Miami had 45 points with only 11 first downs. The last time that happened at the FBS level was Sept. 13, 1997, when Minnesota (with 11 first downs) beat Iowa State 53-29.

Also, ESPN now considers VT to have the longest active bowl streak, because FSU vacated the '06 appearance:

I would be careful with an ankle injury to a player recovering from ACL.
Favoring a leg could toss in some extra side force putting stress on the knee.

I don't suspect we'll need him as much against YooVeeAye as in a bowl game and his NFL chances.

Damn, this has been a rough year for injuries..hopefully next year there will be less injuries to key players.

So we got 1 game from Exum and 6 games from Kyle this year....good thing the freshmen were able to step up so early or it could have been a disaster. It seems like we're not hearing the truth on Exum....an ankle is keeping him out for 3-4 weeks?....and Shane said on Tuesday that he was "limited" in practice but would be ready to go by Sat, but come game day he is not even questionable???
