This rant is new to me and it's the best UVa rip I've ever heard. Hilarious.
Not going to disagree that he's been a decent qb in relief of boone (as per his stats), but in Duke's perfect world, Boone was the much better pocket passer they wanted. His injury put Connette in a position where he had to succeed to keep Duke winning but when Boone is playing well, Connette is really just your stick-it-in guy.

I grew up in charlottesville. When I was younger someone gave me a uva sweatshirt. One year, I wore that sweatshirt to the game, scalped tickets for cheap and then pulled off the sweatshirt to reveal my Tech clothing and threw away the uva sweatshirt...All in front of the guy I just bought the tickets off of...seeing his face was priceless.

If he does well there it will be an easier sell to bring him home when Frank retires. If he struggles there is less pressure to hire him. It works, though I would regret having to hate him.

I disagree about motivation. Remember this is the same UNC team (at least some players), who had Costal Championship rings made even when they were exempt from the title game. If they can do that, they can get up to deny their biggest rival in all sports a chance at legitimate Costal Representation in the title game. They would never miss a chance to screw each other over, sportwise.
If we can snag a few of the top VA players, this class will probably be our best ever. As with 2014, there are a TON of good players in-state for the 2015 cycle.
