I think that Phoebus is just different from most schools in that respect. Elan Lewis wore #38, even after his Junior year when he broke all sorts of records, and was named first-team all-state.

You have no idea. It was equally ridiculous at the Virginia high school all-star game he played in. It was pretty much 757 vs. NoVA, and for the first half he lit up the other team with PJ Hicks, his favorite target from Hampton.

Not to mention the fact that he was a pretty good safety and awesome punt returner during high school as well.

Personally, I like roundabouts a lot. If there's another car in it, you yield, then get in. If you didn't get in the right lane, it's pretty darn easy to turn around and try again.

I think the real problem is most people are just ignorant of what's going on around them, and refuse to accept a 2 minute delay to turn around and come back, so they do unsafe and illegal actions to try and make up for them not focusing on driving.

MSU nearly lost at home to a mid-major. If the Hokies are hot and can stay even on the boards; they have a great chance to win. MSU isn't a team that's going to blow you out..they tend to grind out wins.

Yeah, he would be crazy to return but he did say he wanted to stay 3 years at Duke. I've got a hard time believing that one.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The rendering is right over top of our back way in to our tailgating lot!!!

Edit: Nope, I lied. I took the time to watch the whole video. It's not going to take out our secret way in. Thank goodness.

I would be shocked if Jabari Parker returns to school next year, considering he's widely projected as a top 3 pick. There's a very good chance he could be the #1 overall selection in the draft too, depending on how the season plays out and what team ends up with the top pick.

Once Tech beats Michigan St tomorrow all the recruits will be dying to come here. One can dream can't he?

But at an intersection with traffic lights, inattentive drivers who don't obey lights are the exact same risk as inattentive drivers who don't know/observe the rules of a roundabout.

Really?! An inattentive driver running a red light could either t-bone someone in the cross traffic, or (worse) hit someone head-on who's got the left arrow across from the red-light-runner. Both of those types of collisions are nearly impossible at a roundabout.

I think roundabouts feel less efficient because you actually have to slow down and think about what the other drivers are doing, but they actually keep traffic moving.

The Acc doesn't seem as strong is the current perception. Even with the new programs that joined..it's just more of the Acc bias. All you would hear about is how great the Big East is but now that 3 of their top tear programs are now in the Acc...they suck. Lol

This design avoids the shared acceleration/deceleration lane on the eastbound side of 460 that would be apart of the partial clover-leaf, which I imagine would be less safe.

Amen on Slovak contributions to Va Tech. When she accepts I'll bake a kolach for her. Hell I'll even make one for French for a pie/cake determination.
