I particularly like the part about the Experience, in that it didn't once specifically talk about the experience at LOLUVA or Scott Stadium, and instead wrote a general statement about experiencing ANY college sporting event.
the author clearly knows Scott Stadium blows and just can't force himself to lose an journalistic dignity by suggesting otherwise, but he also needed to fill the page.

The talent level on special teams is fairly even now. In years past The Hokies were putting their best players on ST as we all know. Now that other teams are doing the same thing..the talent has evened out or we are at a disadvantage.
Since you live up in Never Never Land let me ask you a question regarding logistics.
How long is the drive from up there on Gameday?
Did you get to tailgate at all before the game?
and by noise i mean sucking uncontrollably
Rush?
Look there's no reason not to give the ball to Coleman when we need 1 yard but between the 260lb QB and Rogers, they should be throwing him for a 1st down.
Ha ha ha. This is freakin hysterical. I wish I could upvote. Soon....
farty towels?
Without having any number or analysis, I would bet that most states have this same issue outside of CA, TX, and FL. If you are a top talent there's something about going somewhere that no one else can go that is really appealing and plays to your ego.
Check out the ticket exchance on TSL.

Good luck!
I'm sorry Basil, I thought she was a man... Well you have to admit, she is rather mannish.
6000 LEGS!!!!!!!!
If you know any Hoos just tell them that there isn't a move after the game and I bet they will just give you their tickets.
yeah, when recruits like Hand, Harvin, Hughes, Levinberry, Allen, Green, etc... leave the state it really makes me wonder. I mean, there's probably a starting front 7 worth of top tier talent that has left the state over the past two years. And I'd think green could help our RB rotation.
I can understand some leaving but when every year a huge chunk of VA's top rated players leave the state it makes me wonder what the heck is going on. Is it cultural? Is it a program/player development issue? A competition issue? A compensation issue? What gives?
I was there at the game...right by the video board...I looked up and saw it....I said to my son "Look, Horse on a Treadmill!"....I had no idea!
AWESOME!

I'm going to assume you meant we won't be disappointed in your work.
I have a feeling we'll be disappointed in the performance of our line...
I drove down from Fairfax and took my son to his first game...we had a great time, although we were obviously disappointed with the result. The thing he was most excited about was being there for the Enter Sandman opening...it was great.
During the game, a drunk guy behind me says "Everyone knows Logan Thomas is a Piece of $hit"...This was at the beginning of the game when Logan was 8 for his first 8 passes.
I turned to him and said "Maybe you should stop drinking and pay attention to the game. Logan has not thrown an incomplete pass yet and you are complaining about him."
I felt I had to say something to him...I just couldn't let my son hear an idiot bashing Logan for no good reason...it just didn't make sense.
Go Hokies...things will get better.

Malleck's injury may directly have cost this team two games this year.
For you, Horse
OK, not saying I know who the stalker was but I checked the leader board for who I thought it was and he has mysteriously vanished. I'm gonna assume that was him because that makes me happy.
Thanks Joe
I think you missed the /sarcastica font.

Pet birds give me the creeps.
