To be frank, the kid's a BEAST of an athlete. I'm excited to see what he can do against much better teams later in the playoffs (hoping he gets that opportunity). Doing this vs the #16 seed in 4A doesn't buy me right away though. I looked at the 4A playoff pairings and even God awful Glen Allen high school (4-6 this year) is a #12 seed.
I just don't want to be hearing all week about our record against Top 5 teams. Mostly because do you know who has a good record against Top 5 teams? No one. I found it a few years ago when we lost to Boise and Bama leads it all time with a little below a 30% win rate.

Bingo. 2015 could be really special. Look at all the contributions we're getting on defense from new kids, with two years of prep for our current crop of recruits we could really shine in 2015, just in time for our OOC schedule to improve significantly. There are a lot of potential marquee matchups coming in the next few years. The future is bright - that's a hell of a lot better than looking back at the past and complaining about things that weren't changed after the fact. It is what it is.
What is a tailgate at Virginia like?
In my book, it would take a lot of bad punts from A.J. to cancel out all the good ones, plus the tide turning tackle (alliteration...you're welcome) in the Miami game, and the first down scamper in the Marshall game.
A.J. has a strong resume for MVP as far as I'm concerned.

I'm fine with it. I don't care what the media says. FSU deserves the hype, and nobody is gonna give us a chance. Just like the Bama game. And I'm fine with that. Also because if we make the ACC title game our bowl game is probably gonna be the Chik-Fil-A Bowl and I'd be ok with going back to Atlanta.
