I hope at some point Saturday he trots out and nails a 40+ yarder. I also hope we don't need it, I just want to see him do it. Like in the 4th quarter with us up by a million or so.
I'm pretty sure that last week's TerribleMetaphorGuy was a fake from someone trying to help us get a win. Just didn't seem to be as good as the original. But hey It's only weird if it doesn't work.

Yes, he let the team down and is embarrasing the school and he threw away the trust and chances Beamer gave him. On the other hand though, the next man up is what concerns me. Insulting Cody isn't going to get anywhere. We are now without a kicker which should concern some people. So you can be glad that he's no longer associated with the program, but to lose his talent and now be without a proven kicker is a blow and you should be concerned. Beamer made the right decision, but we are in some trouble now.
I challenge anyone in here to defend all the decisions that they made in their early 20's.

What all these well-wishers are missing is that he's let down the team we all love and embarrassed OUR school.
Personally, I'm glad he's gone, because he wasted his talent AND the chances he's been given.
