No problem. AJ Huges can play linebacker, kickoffs, punts, qb ... field goals are cake
Awesome post. The first picture of those idiots around a fire at an intersection is picture perfect for College Park. Can't wait to see what you've done for LOLUVA.
two general comments:
1) Nando's is the TIT'S! Peri-Peri sauce is phucking great.

But it's from South Africa. It's Portuguese style bbq chicken mixed with South African spices, and it's glorious.
2) Aston Villa, seriously? How'd that happen?
Very well said Skipper. I am very concerned as well. Just hope he can turn his life around.
Don't know how to embed tweets on my phone, but Marshawn Williams, has been cleared to enroll in the spring according to him!!
Shilla is pretty awesome as well, I always go to the one in Centreville, tho. Man, now I want Bi Bim Bop for lunch
It's easy to be mad at the kid, espescially right now in the immediate aftermath of the announcement. The easy thing to say is "don't let the door hit you on the way out." But I am legitimately sad and worried for Cody.
First off, I whole-heartedly agree with the sentiment that Cody had more than enough chances and that the coaching staff is doing the right thing. You only get so many chances in life and Cody was lucky to get as many as he did here at VT. He blew them and he has nobody but himself to blame for that.
However, he's a 20-something year old kid. Think of all that he has been through this year: suspensions, death threats, and now this. That's a lot for anyone to take over the course of a few weeks.
Cody clearly has problems. We all have problems, Cody's are just more public than most. But what concerns me most is his apparent apathy for consequences. I mean if I was in his position and knew that I was on thin ice, I don't think I'd screw up again, much less the week of senior day. It worries me that this guy may be fighting some demon that has more power over him than the Virginia Tech football program does, and that is a scary thought.
Guys, think of what he is going through right now. How much time do you think he spends playing football? It had to be a large part of his life. Now that's seemingly over. He knows he's let his teammates, family, friends, and community down. He deleted his Twitter. He isn't in a good place right now and those demons might be on his shoulder stronger than ever at the moment.
I don't know if this is rock bottom for Cody or not, but I gotta believe it's down somehwere close to there. So if you're upset, I understand, so am I. But please try to keep Cody in your thoughts and hope for the best for him. Regardless of what he's done until now, he's still a Hokie and he has done some good things for us.
There are far more important things in life than football. I hope Cody gets his life figured out and moves on from this in a positive way. I'm disappointed in Cody but I haven't given up hope on him. I wish him nothing but the best in his future.
could not have said it better myself, sir. have a turkey leg.
Considering that there are now multiple college football programs where the players can legally smoke weed, this is getting to be more difficult than ever. Tyrone Mathieu said he failed "too many drug tests to count" at LSU.
If it's weed, how can you justify testing for it anymore? (not to condone drug use and certainly not to defend the useless Cody Journell, just asking the question)
No more orange helmet, jersey, or pants please.
Yep....He has screwed the team one too many times!!!!
Very well said, there's no need for hostility. This, sir, is a classy and mature assessment.
Not worrying about our next two games is what I'm worried about...
Your terminology is stronger than mine, but the underlying sentiment that Cody has proven again and again that he is self-serving, undependable, and uncaring about the community of which he is a part is shared. I grew up in Ripplemead myself, so I've known Cody for a long time, and I can attest that what most of you know him for is nothing but more recent manifestations of the same attitudes he has had for a very long time. I wish Cody well in the same way that I wish everyone who has a disordered life (and I certainly include myself in this category) well: I hope that he is able recognize what is right, take control of himself, and begin pursuing it. There shouldn't be any equivocation about the fact that he has let all of us down; he should feel the full weight of disappointing the student body, the alumni, the fans, his hometown community (there isn't much that can gain a person more acclaim in Giles County than winning a scholarship to play for Tech), his friends, the football team, and his family. But all of us should also wish him the best because, if you're included in any of those categories, he's been a part of your identity.

# | In light of CJ getting kicked off the team, FSU's Winston's being investigated for sexual assault. A down vote, butt Winston was just preparing for a tough game. He was practicing coming from behind.
Tonight --- Clemson vs. Ga Tech, guess what ... the Urban Dictionary has that game covered already:

the only thing to do is move on and cheer on the rest of the seniors who have worked their asses off for the school and all of us the last few years and give them a hell of a send off for their last game at lane

Kyle Fuller girlfriend potential? Think of it. They both play football. It could be great!
