I can't tell if this is a joke or not... Is he really annoucing his retirement? I feel bad for the guy - he sounds awful on the Hokie Hotline.

I did the exact same thing. I think he's now set in stone as Green Bay's #4 WR even when all the others get back, which means he'll still get a fair number of reps.

Well, I think it's a little tougher to rank them all. A little surprised the Canes didn't make it, but there are a lot of miserable fans out there.

I thought for a moment you were asking us to post our grades. I panicked.

I'd love to have Jay Payton to see what he can become. Classic under the radar guy with a very high ceiling.

That's too easy an article to write. How can a guy pretend to call himself a journalist when the section on UVA could be done in video by any 12 year old NC fan living at home with his Mom?

Quick statistical comparison:

Jarrett Boykin in his freshman year:14g, 8gs, 30 catches, 440 yards, 2 TD's
Danny Coale in his freshman year: 14g, 14gs*, 36 catches, 408 yards, 0 TD's
Joshua Stanford so far: 10g, 9gs, 34 catches, 562 yards, 1 TD

*Danny Coale played in 55 games in his Virginia Tech career, starting 54. Which game did he not start? Oh, only the the Nebraska game.

"Taylor...... looking desperately......throwing it deep.....has a man open......{unbelievable}....caught!....Danny Coale!"

Yes, but when the phrase "needed to be revamped", it made it seem to me like our team needed to be made better than it was headed under Greenberg. In that case I disagree. At the time that JJ came in we still had those two players, both left after JJ was hired. Additionally, I don't want to make it seem like I'm not pulling for JJ and our team, because I definitely am pulling for them. I just think that the Greenberg firing was one of the biggest mistakes we've made. Last years team and this years team could have been something really special with the recruits SG had coming in, just unfortunate we won't ever get to see that.

I was lucky enough to be a student during the First Coming of Vick. Pretty much that entire season was magical. Being at the BC game where we locked up the undefeated season while watching the scores from the Nebraska game and realizing that we were going to the championship game right then and there was the single most awesome thing from the season. Leading into the 4th in the NC game is up there too, but without the win to seal the deal.

For me it was 2011 Miami or 2009 Nebraska. I'd have to say Miami just because that last minute touchdown was right towards the north endzone, and from the band I could see the hole open up in the line. I was losing my shit as soon as Logan kept the ball.
