My assessment is that he was a lot more accurate with the ball in this game. He wasn't 100%, but his high passes were generally within his WR's reach, if they weren't head-level or below and more importantly he put the ball in places that gave the WR's a chance for RAC, rather than having to dive or tumble to the ground making the catch.

He missed way way high on a few short passes to the RB's, and the one where Cline got shaken up, but overall he was much more accurate this game, and it showed in 80.6% completion rate.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOO 6-0 for the 2nd time

Watching it on TV and hearing the lets go Hokies chant was amazing! Shout out to you and the other fans that were at the game.

I honestly think no one who is a true Hokie fan or a true Miami fan thought this was a stunner. Everyone who knows anything knew this was gonna be a good game..I'm just glad we came out on top

A lot of media folks were under the impression that Miami was back. They're awful. They got into the top 15 by beating a terrible Florida team, and spent the rest of the season squeaking by Carolina schools. They have more bad wins than BC has good losses.
So to those who pay attention only to rankings, this is a stunner.

I had a good feeling VT might take down Miami. My biggest surprise was there were no offensive turnovers by either team, even with all that rain. Considering how our Defense gets after Miami QBs, and how Logan had a few issues protecting the football over the past two games, this one had the potential to be a turnover-fest.

LOGAN THOMAS! LOGAN THOMAS! LOGAN THOMAS! Sit back haters and let this man work! You can jump back on the bandwagon after he wins the ACCCG

Stanford will be a big play maker for us in the years to come..not to mention the rest of the season. He's got his work cut out for him...glad he's reppin the #5

I have one friend here in VA that is a Miami fan...you wanna know how I know hes a true fan? He knew for weeks this was gonna happen. He knew there was no way they could put together a complete game against our defense. Sucks to be U my friend..maybe next year...or maybe never! HOKIES!!!!!

I concur, but I want to help. This site is ridiculously good, and it's free. I want it to stay free, but I still would be willing help donate what I could

Just for the record, that was a bad Miami team that played well and still lost.

No turnovers from their offense, which scored more than I expected they would, esp in the rain. Their defense wasn't bad either, but our offense still ate their lunch; the blocking was great tonight. Their special teams essentially had three turnovers, and VT actually made them pay dearly each time.

But just for the record, Miami is an under-achieving group that hasn't changed its stripes. They beat a miserable Florida team to jump into the top 15, and kept winning (barely) against Carolina schools. Now I have to root for them against Duke, who is probably the better team.

Thankfully they were ripe for the picking and Logan did just that. Everybody on offense played great tonight, and the defense did its job too. Always great to beat Da U.

Kind of but yeah... it looked more like the Miami player's cleat got caught in Branthover's facemask or something as he was trucking him and caused him to trip, but a tackle nonetheless I guess haha

Not really my argument, since Leal isn't playing unless things go off the rails, and Logan's the most talented QB on the roster. More of the fact that people seem intent to minimize mistakes by Logan by either saying "it was just three bad plays" while ignoring the badness of those plays or by blaming them on everyone else but Logan. Coming in to tonight he's a 55% passer on the season with more INTs than TDs, so it's more than just two or three bad passes a game. Tonight those mistakes didn't happen, the offense took advantage of what Thomas does, and the offense dropped 42 points. Going off memory he overthrew a screen pass and led one receiver too much and that was about it. Obviously, if Logan played like that every game or close to it there would be no complaints at all about him from anyone.

Look, regardless of how well the Fighting Cutcliffes are playing: We lost to Duke. At home. And were arguably lucky to make it close.

So, yeah, never mind what happened at BC, going down to UM and beating them two weeks later falls into the "stun" category.

I am so excited for this kid. Love to watch him play, and he has been on fire..

To be honest, pretty sure everyone was shocked haha

Didn't realize that was Hughes that forced the fumble from where we were sitting. I was watching the ball and must have missed the tackle.

Please do, I can't donate much but I'll do what I can. I haven't been around websites that much, but I've been around enough to know it's not cheap.

I'm. So. Happy.

I'm happy for Logan. I'm happy for our defense. I'm happy for our coaches. I'm. Just. Happy.

Hugs (and a glass of bourbon) all around.
