That said, if there's anyone frustrated, it'd be one of Michigan's runningbacks. Their o-line is playing very poorly.
That's what's great about the numbers...they adjust for opponent, luck, etc. So you can see more clearly that we're not some hopeless underdog and can hold our own, especially on defense.
Alabama's offense might be the most underrated in the country...everyone thinks they are just a game management offense but they are really, really good. We shut their offense down.
Miami is not going to roll over us on offense. Our D is really damn good and they will have difficulty. We only lost the last two games because of field position given up by turnovers. Take that away and those games aren't close.

THanks for the response. I hope I don't sound overly negative. The numbers just make sense to me.
Just went through every recruiting year since 2002 and some of our classes in the mid 2000's were horrible. I mean close to bottom half of the country horrible. But on the other hand, some of the highest rated classes were several spots better than the 2012 and 2013 classes. I'd like to see us break the top 20 (preferably the top 15) with regularity. At least that feels like a realistic goal. 2014 is off to a hot start. I'd like to see six more 4 stars in this class, and NO MORE two stars by the time we're done. If we end up outside the top 20 - it won't be a much different haul than normal, an advantage being that we'll have had three consecutive years of top 25 classes. That's good for us, but I don't know if it's enough to win every game on an increasingly difficult ACC slate and Conf Championship - much less with teams around the country that are bringing in double the amount of 'top rated' prospects that VT is.
FSU is kicking some serious ass, Miami is finally starting to harness their players potential, and I don't really see Clemson going anywhere with all the talent they're reeling in - mostly because while Dabo can be a little goofy, players react to him. We have to respond...
and THAT shit starts tonight. Fuck Miami. Claim the coastal. Give FSU every bit they can stand and scream to the world that this team, and this program isn't going away. Everyone should quit psyching themselves out. That game proved that with getting some more experience on the kicking squad and not tossing INTs, we can beat anyone.
Our kicking team has improved a lot since then and we proved we can protect the football.
FSU could be real tough but Miami we should be able to beat handily.

Short answer, Yes we can. We already have the Defense and as long as Bud is there, we will generally have a great Defense. The Offense lacks a dominant O-line (including blocking TE's) and a QB that fits Lefty's system. Don't get me wrong, Logan has skills, but his running ability distracts the coaches IMO from utilizing him almost exclusively as a passer. I liken Logan's running to an addiction, it's just too tempting, and the more you use it, the more damage you do to the traditional running game by denying them the in-game repetitions.

He probably doesn't have an offer because his film doesn't merit it. A lot of folks think Minor is a lock to Tech, but then again those same folks pegged Lee to Tech yesterday. Landing Minor and Keihn are absolutely priorities now. Hopefully the coaches can close.

That served no purpose other than to burn the house down. Most of his comments were either bitching about something, or pandering for recruiting information. That's not what this site is about.

Working on a plan to match up the Fuller brothers with extremely fertile, athletic women who have a family history of multiples (twins, triplets, etc). I'll keep you posted.

Two Things:
- Would I want Derrick Green? No. He passed on us. Also, he showed up to Michigan fat, and hasn't overly impressed there. Knock on wood that we'll have legit tailback depth again by 2015.
- I heard about these rumors and tracked them down. They're written by a clown who Michigan fans universally agree is a fraud and rumormonger.
