I don't know if I would want this kid. I realize he's talented but I've heard nothing but bad things about him since his high school days. Wanting to transfer after one semester of college for unsubstantial reasons reeks of someone with maturity issues.

Russell Wilson finished undergrad in three years. The NCAA allows a football player to transfer to whatever school he wants as long as he's enrolled in a graduate program that is not offered at his current school.

Sounds like Brandon is happy with his decision to attend UM and I wish him a healthy, successful collegiate football career and I hope at the end of it he's either in the NFL or in medical school.

As for us, let's find the next 16-year-old to drool over. I mean that in the least creepiest way possible.

Now for the rest of the picks..

Penn State

Wisconsin

7th Floor Crew

Miami

LSU

These picks are brought to you by Jolly Roger Christmas Ale from Maritime Brewery. My favorite brewery and my fav holiday beer. Most likely it will be Rogers at the bar tomorrow if they don't have a holiday beer.

Go Hokies!!!

Russel Wilson graduated in 3 years leaving him open to go to post grad at Wisconsin and play immediately. Not the case for an undergrad transfer.

By immediately do you mean in 2015 (after sitting a year) or hoping for a Russell Wilson-esque situation where he doesn't have to sit? I have no idea how RW & Wisconsin finagled that one and if VT/Green would qualify for that if he even decides to transfer. As long as they keep their noses clean and want to fight for a spot on the roster/in our hearts, I'll welcome just about any kid into the O&M fold.

Remember the posts about how much happier Logan seemed this year? The greif he's received the past two weeks are the kind of negativity that saps your joy in the game as a player, so let's all encourage Logan to enjoy the remaining few games of his career. ...and perhaps we'll enjoy them more as a result.

(edit: corrected spelling....dang cell phone keyboards!)

Well you have to start winning games again.

The team is heading in the right direction after last season, the worst season of my VT fandom. Recruiting is improving, this recruiting class is one to be excited about, and if Tech finishes the season strong the momentum will carry over into next season's recruiting.

How about the Chung connection?
