Does anyone know if we're going to see more Facyson this weekend rather than exum? I'm not saying that the daycare is bad but it seems like he has been taking a little more time to get back to full speed than we hoped for. I want more interceptions!
Okay, my first issue is that two separate people both used the same "holy trinity" to poopoo on all barbecue everywhere else. I know I make my jokes about people in Western Carolina using ketchup on their barbecue and South Carolinians ruining theirs with mustard, but to be so utterly condescending and douchey like this is just aggravating.
Referencing this trio in a review is like reading Rolling Stone to see who good rock bands are.

Yeah, I'm not as high on Loeffler as I am on Grimes. And I don't know why that is.
I've heard several people mention him before, but he's still not a well-known name for this discussion: Todd Grantham (link). He's from Pulaski and went here; he has coached here, in the NFL, and in the SEC. He seems to be a good football coach, with good experience, that has the same mindset as our program. Maybe not the overall best candidate, but I think that he should definitely good looked at when the time comes.
Another question would be of the TKPers that have brought their young hokies to a game, which have been Ws and which were Ls?
No you talk about teams and programs that suck WORSE than yours. For example, a guy at my work is a Mountainqueer fan. They happen to be 4-5. Then of course there's always LOLUVA.
For one thing I hope they actually WIN the damn game. Best way to shut all the haters and whiners up...JUST F-KING WIN BABY!

Torrian Gray should be the head coach. Just like Beamer, he played DB at Tech. He has NFL playing and coaching experience. Players will want to play for him. There's a good chance the rest of the defense coaching staff will stay for Gray over an outside coach.
Thanks, I thought that if he had a opportunity to go to a bigger school he could recruit better and has that young positive attitude that most SEC schools are looking for... Him with Bud's Defense could be amazing lol just figuratively speaking though.
Brogan Thomas baby. Mark Leal wouldn't last a heartbeat in this offense. After the first few body slams on an option keeper, we'd be bringing LT right back out there. Nothing against Mark, but he's not a LEALISTIC option for us right now.

Long-term solutions pretty much don't exist in college football anymore. Either bigger programs or the NFL make it difficult to hold on to successful coaches for very long.

He does have a clause in his contract that if he's not head coach when Beamer retires, he get something like $100,000.

When/if Bud Foster takes over does he remain the D-coordinator? Or does he let someone else run his defense? I think its difficult to be a head coach and a coordinator. Too much to tackle. Now the obvious choices would be Charley Wiles or Torrian Gray. Do you think he'd look to hire someone from outside the staff? Or would he keep things internal?
We are taking our oldest daughter who is 7 to her first game this year, against Maryland. I hope it is a great experience win or lose for her. Honestly more then anything she can't wait for Enter Sandman because doing it at home here in SC, "is getting old dad," as she puts it.
In reference to Logan, outside of Bryan Randall and Tyrod Taylor it has been a while since a player with such potential at Tech has had to face such harsh criticism and has been able to maintain such a great attitude about it. Say what you want about our record but when I see guys like LT3 coming out of our program it makes me proud to be a Hokie. Name a player from Alabama, LSU, or most other top programs to deal with what he does and still shows poise and determination like LT3.
If Morris isn't coaching for USC in 3.5 months, I'll be fairly shocked.
Good point, I guess the only way to get that is to hire from within "the family", Torrian or Shane could be ready at that point.
