Taco Bell is always good going down as a drunk fourth meal, however it's horrible coming out the next morning. It's like additional hung over punishment.

As I get older, my body struggles with that stuff.

Heard Ford the WR will be in town too.

As in everything else - you cannot have equal opportunity and equality in results. Everyone is different - some people are just better at football than others. If you want every kid to have a chance to play football, they will not experience equal results.

Thanks Skipper. That's exactly what I was trying to say... why words no come so good me?

Forget that, I'd love Brent Venables to stay.

And the next time we play Clemson, for him to convince his players that they're facing FSU again and not us...

Maybe he's getting silver medals that say "first place."

I approve. I think you're the only person on this site who hates Tennessee more than I do!

The parent making the complaint is the one bullying. Apparently giving it your all and performing at your very best at every moment is now a bad thing. Disgusting.

Thursday's game will be on ESPN3 at 7:00 PM for those of us who are out of town. I'll definitely be tuning in. Go Hokies!

This just in: Dabo is ordering ACC Atlantic division championship rings for his team.

I wish I could be there if only for the sick T-Shirts theyre giving out. HokieBird + Batman symbol = me salivating

The penalties should only apply to Hurtt. The penalties have an obvious detrimental effect on the program as a whole, thus punishing Louisville by proxy, but the NCAA can't punish the other coaches. Statements in http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20131022/SPORTS02/310220062/Tom-J... seem to back this up. The fact that he is UL's recruiting coordinator and he's now banned from recruiting through the spring is a pretty big hit. Regarding pay, he's still getting a salary, but it's frozen at its current level.

Those punishments include a two year compensation freeze, a ban from any recruiting activity through spring of 2014, a "zero tolerance" policy on further violations and mandatory rules seminars.

I'm still confused... Do these punishments apply JUST to hurtt or everyone on staff? If it's just Hurtt, does that mean he doesn't get paid for two years? and he can't recruit AT ALL until spring 2014?

A bit more information specifically about Hurtt:

In order to keep Hurtt on staff, Jurich confirmed that Louisville will accept the "further punishments" proposed by the NCAA. Those punishments include a two year compensation freeze, a ban from any recruiting activity through spring of 2014, a "zero tolerance" policy on further violations and mandatory rules seminars.

Emphasis added regarding recruiting. That could be a big hit.

It would be very hard for Hurtt to be hired elsewhere, because the show-cause penalty follows him wherever he goes, so the hiring institution must "show cause" as to why it should not be subjected to the penalty he has earned.

I plan on being there this Thursday. #3 vs #4. Definitely going to be the biggest game played at Thompson field. Chugger has something special working over there.

Yea. They also have ASU at 6 and Utah in the top 20. I'm gonna take the rankings with a grain of salt.

Hes right, unc is weak

Isaiah Ford, who was actually thought to be considering Tech before this. I would be shocked if he doesn't end up a Hokie now.
