Except they were supposed to, and everyone thought, destroy WVU. The key point in Clemsoning is being touted as the favorite, supposed to win, and then losing. Losing to a Top 5 team while in the top 5; hell even losing to a top 10 team isn't Clemsoning, it's just losing. That's what they did, the lost to a better team, who was also undefeated. Basically if they lost to any other ACC team besides FSU, Miami, USCe before tonight, or maybe VT then it would of been Clemsoning.

The idea that loluva fans think we have an inferiority complex is the most hysterical thing to me. The most faintest of shit can be spoken and they immediately cite their "superior" academics and all around athletics in defense. The last time I checked we're talking about FOOTBALL. I believe we would have to be inferior to them to have an inferiority complex, and...my god...their just isn't even a comparison between programs.

Here are the scores of the last ten games of the Alabama-Auburn rivalry, otherwise known as the Iron Bowl - Auburn has won 6 out of those 10 games.

Saban became the head coach at Alabama in 2007 and since then, Bama has won 4 out of 6.

L 11-22-2003 23 Auburn, AL 28
L 11-20-2004 13 Tuscaloosa, AL 21
L 11-19-2005 18 Auburn, AL 28
L 11-18-2006 15 Tuscaloosa, AL 22
L 11-24-2007 10 Auburn, AL 17
W 11-29-2008 36 Tuscaloosa, AL 0
W 11-27-2009 26 Auburn, AL 21
L 11-26-2010 27 Tuscaloosa, AL 28
W 11-26-2011 42 Auburn, AL 14
W 11-24-2012 49 Tuscaloosa, AL 0

Alabama leads the overall series with a record of 42-34-1.

Tyrod had to play hero ball, and based on how many of the games that season went you can't blame him. He went beast mode for that one touchdown. That game mostly went to miss opportunities, mostly the flagged or denied picks by our defense on Luck which led to points. A team that wins off of turnovers doesn't win when they get none.

That game went to shit as soon as hosley dropped that would be pick 6.

At least that's when it went all wrong for me. Lol

I say lol because I laugh to mask the hurt.

THIS. It was discussed already on another thread. The fact of the matter is that there are only 3 states that can support teams that can consistently recruit top level home talent and be competitive: Texas, Florida and California. No other state has enough talent to support 2 top level teams. For VT to be a National Champion they must destroy LOLUVA both on the field and on the recruiting trail.

However, they also need the ACC to generally improve. This year we see a nice change with FSU, Miami and Clemson (despite last week). With the ACC rising more home talent will stay home and not jump to SEC and other conferences.

Did you see that big linemen who took up two seats in the bus? His right knee was bouncing rapidly up and down and he kept throwing his head back like he was trying to loosen up his neck and back that stress had tightened up. I think the rest of the Clemson team was wound tight for this game - in contrast, FSU was loose as a goose.

Someone down voted this? man.. this is getting out of hand. Here's an extra leg.

I respect your opinion about too much LOLUVA bashing but there's a reason why in-state rivalries are so fun. The "who's better" debate. Right now on the cusp of the Decade of Dominance there is currently no debate. So it is all about bashing because everything else is just grasping at straws.

See LOLUVA straw gasping: "Best 3rd Down Defense in Country" and "Qdoba offering free food for touchdowns".

If they could stop being laughable we wouldn't need to keep laughing at them, but those 5 threads of bashing are about 5 separate classic LOLUVA actions. If you want to limit the bashing to 1 thread then go on the Sabre and ask them to simply commit all their laughable actions on the same day so we can compile them on one thread.

Until that happens the laughing and bashing will not stop and thus the creation of new threads will not either.

My girlfriend's family lives in Charlottesville and they have bought season tickets every year for over a decade. They decided not to buy them this year and her father says he will not be a Hoos fan until Mike London is gone. They literally cheer against them now.

you can't make this stuff up

Agreed. Sometimes the team isn't performing and someone needs to play hero ball or you will not win. Clemson the team got dismantled at every aspect of the game. Boyd had to be the hero, that's the QB's job.

See Logan vs GT, Miami

The Qdoba around me gives tiny portions meanwhile when I ask for half carnitas and half chicken on my bowl at Chipotle I get 150% meat. Then they always forget to mark the fajita veggies because they're buried under quad salsa

Andrew Ford's reaction:

Andrew Ford has got to be loving the offensive recruiting this year on OL and WR. He will break many a offensive record in his time.

Quality over quantity. Sauce/seasoning on carnitas mixed with queso is mind blowing. Can throw it on a burrito too.
