I just asked myself what I would do with a million dollars in Blacksburg, here is the list I came up with:
- Eat at Souvlaki's everyday.
- Get sick of eating Souvlaki's
- Buy a sweet bicycle to ride around on the hillier portions of Montgomery county
- Pay for medical bills after getting hit on my bicycle by one of my neighbors going around a corner way too fast
- Buy a sweet bicycle for the trails in Jefferson National Forrest and stay far the eff away from the roads
- Running shoes.
- Negotiating with asics to start making the good split shorts again.
- Realizing negotiating with asics is a lost cause and buying the cheaper, yet still good BOA split shorts
- Beer.
- Realizing that everything I have budgeted for long term is pretty much shoes food and beer, only to increase my beer budget.
- Realizing I'm still coming way under on my beer budget what with me being a light weight from all of the running, only to start buying craft beer
We better win the Coastal.
It's an odd feeling, to be sure. I never root for Miami, though. I just can't. So anything that's good for UNC makes me happy.
My biggest takeaway so far (ignoring the injuries) is that Miami is not strong mentally. They've had a few things go wrong early and are already acting like the game is over. If we hit them early we'll take it.
My dad- "YES! HELL YES! INTERCEPTION! But... Why am I pulling for UNC?"
I can't wait to see how our D-line matches up against Miami. I have a feeling Morris is going to have nightmares about Gayle, Collins, Maddy, Hopkins, and Nicholas for weeks.

That Miami player just did a punk move to Davis of UNC. Lord knows what will happen if he tries to do that to Sam Rogers after he scores a TD on them.

So far, it seems like Miami's strategy is: nothing, nothing, deep pass. Not going to work against our secondary.
Stop catching long passes!
I certainly hope so; he is killing UNC up the middle right now.
I look for Logan to go all 2011 style on this Miami defense.

I'm really not impressed with Miami. Their D doesn't look as good as advertised. Their O is struggling outside of a couple of plays.

I know this is a technicality; but so is the salary comparison for Dabo vs Morris. Anyway, for what it is worth, base salary for Beamer is in the $200K range (don't ask me about that "retention" lol):

I've got hopes for him and Josh Stanford. Also Kalvin Cline. It's weird watching our young receivers beast mode while our experienced receivers struggle.
