I mean, I would take more without a second thought. But history has shown that a dominant D and an average O, we can win.
The bye week should be huge for these guys. Let's see what they do with a week to get healthy and work more.
Dadi played fired up the entire game. He was getting so pumped it was pumping me up from my seat. I think he was enjoying his special position for the day.

True. I especially enjoyed it this week since we are the only team in the ACC with that lovely little asterisk. Last year, we didn't get that until the very last week, so it's very sweet this year.
Safe to say if you post this every week after we win, you're gonna have a good time.
Agreed. From everything we've seen, I doubt our guys will take anyone lightly. Hopefully we'll come out firing on all cylinders against Duke and be healthy enough to beat BC. After that, it's the big one, but one week at a time.

VT probably wouldn't be in the title discussion if they played Directional U instead of Bama. They'd need chaos.
If we had type of running game the offense would be just fine.
The offense seems to be good for about 10-15 minutes in a game and an erratic hot mess for the other 45 minutes. The defense is ridiculously good.

The offense has been doing "just enough" to win ball games, and this is the way Loeffler's been playing it. Realize, this is the 3rd game in a row they've scored enough points in the first quarter to win the game, and have just relied on the defense from there. "Small-ball", as one Pitt poster called it, has worked so far. I call it a conservative, ball-control offense, which is a great compliment to this "light's out" defense.

We can't overlook a single opponent. The way our O plays every game will be close. We just got to focus on the next opponent.

Regardless of how it happened , 6-1 going into the bye sounds pretty good. Time to get healthy and get back at it.
Really at a loss for how our line can be so consistently bad at that aspect of the game. But that's what we have French for.
Beginning to think there were just too many bad habits left over from Newsome to overcome.
But hey, this was an average performance by Logan, and we still pulled out the W. If he can learn from today, and tighten those passes to the crossing routes up (I've all but given up on him ever being able to throw a screen with any consitency) to where they were the last 2 weeks, we should be fine all the way up to Miami.
Sucks to keep having my hopes dashed that it will all come together and we'll finally get a stress-free game, but thanks to my patron saint of the Distilled Grain, I will abide.
If I were a d-coordinator, I would key on shutting down the pass and make the hokies beat me running.
I'll take that, and improvement in the return game.
