I thought after the UNC game that the offense would really be coming into their own. I'm not sure I would go as far to say that they took a step back, as Pitt's defense is respectable and we know they brought their A-game and we still 'dominated'. I think the offense is doing just about average. Hopefully the o-line can get healthy and back to form by the miami game.
We haven't turned the ball over since Marshall. I'm happy with that from our offense.
our d is so damn good. i hate that this game was as close as it was. i should get used to the fact our offense isnt going to light it up. it really felt closer to me than it really was. it sucks we still cant get a run game going. but were 6-1 ill take it
I think it is safe to say, there a few, if any teams, that will put more than 14-17 points on this team. That is about all you can ask for. They are literally averaging 12 points per game...the offense will be growing and getting healthy during the bye week...hopefully they can start putting more together.
If Mizzou holds on, they will jump us in the standings so there is that...
Those guys haven't been very healthy in the past few weeks, so there's been a little shuffling. Needless to say, the bye week comes at a good time for those guys.
