What a tough kid. Sprained foot and abdomen? LT3 is just awesome.
Woody Barron is 265. I think the difference is that we recruited Woody Barron and Corey Marshall as DL guys where as Moore wasn't.
It could be coaching, or my bet would be on that Moore was simply overrated coming out of HS.
I think that we may be missing some of the bigger picture here. Leffy may be changing up the game plan per game. I know that in the past, that we just did the same thing game in and game out, but it seems like after getting the Offense on the basics, it allows him to change up the scheme.
Seems like he knew he could open up the passing game against GT, and when it worked, he kept it up.
I mean think about this, we were passing on first down. Even the commentators were confused, as they thought we would run the ball on first down. It had everyone on their heels.
Not sure if it was Pollack or Palmer, but they mentioned how Leffy has so many different offensive schemes on video out there, it's hard to plan for him. Seems they were right and GT wasn't ready.
I think my theory may be proven against UNC. We may be passing a lot again, based on ECU lighting them up.
So he'll throw for 400 on Saturday, is what you're saying.
Yes, I was just about to post this....there are people with sense over there.
Any GIF from The Wire deserves many turkey legs.
If by fun mean heart attack inducing, then yes I agree.
I could be wrong, but I think it was the ref who initiated it...
That was a horrible pun. Turkey leg for you, sir!
In a related story from 6 months ago: Our home schedule sucks. We're lucky these games are on TV at all, these matchups aren't remotely compelling for anyone other than an alum to watch.
And it's fine. We need to continue to get better. Go play off the main stage and hone the craft. By the Miami game, we'll be back in primetime and people will be watching and we'll beat their ass.
If we get our TV antenna working and Armed Forces Network picks the VT game i'm right there with ya! Sweating it up off of Africa too.
Someone tell the giraffe it's at 3:30!
My thoughts exactly.
Plus, you know, Annie...

Kwontie Moore was ridiculously overrated (the main knock being that he was terribly slow)... Or at least this was the opinion of everybody who followed VA high school football. The irony is that he's moving to DL because he's so slow, yet he's still probably slower than Hop who has like >50 pounds on him. If he plays against us I hope someone has a griddle because there are going to be some pancakes being served up.
As someone who only has the option of watching the games on TV, I don't mind the noon start. It simply means I have a buzz that much earlier in the day. Go Hokies!
Logan Thomas said he sprained foot in first quarter against GT. Doing it just to take pressure off of it. Doesn't sound like a big deal.— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) September 30, 2013
Hey, you're on TKP making fun of Georgia Tech. YOU CAN DO THAT.

Sweet, another primetime (for me) game!
-the only guy watching VT games in Africa
Reminded me of this.
You can't fight it. PJ can't help you. No one can. Accept it.
Each season I pick one home game to make, and this BS always happens. I thought for sure we'd luck out and be mercifully given at least a 1:30 kickoff, if not better.
What makes this worse, is that I'm getting ready to move to Colorado later this year, so my ability to make home games is going to have a new set of challenges apart from wife, kids, job, etc. We better put a curb stomping on Pitt this year to make up for the early kickoff.
BILLDOZER - that was fucking EPIC! Awesome work.

Primetime at Miami probably doesn't make much of a difference to any Hokie fans. Those watching on TV probably don't care about the time, and those going to the game are probably traveling a day in advance anyway. I think much of the noon game agitation stems from people having to make commutes from places like NOVA and such.
