New GIF idea for any animation wiz - this kid turning away and walking down the tunnel, then James Gayle annihilating him from the blind side.
I haven't seen your video, I'm just assuming it's better than that. Mainly because it can't be worse.
I think it needed more of him walking away at the end
Please see my previous post. and I agree, Nike can do so much better.
Agreed. And for the life of me, I'll never understand why those of us with pronounced Milwaukee/St. Louis tumors (read: fat beer guts) think it's a good idea to tuck in a T-shirt into ill-fitting jeans. Just stop it!
Late to the party here, but dissing the refs was completely appropriate in that case. That was a 14 point swing, and it was a HORRIBLE call. Dude was nowhere near the line. And they knew it afterwards. Possibly changed the outcome with momentum shift.
Once I saw Terrence & Philip I read the entire thing in their voices. Great mix of science, humor, LOLUVA and football. Keep it up!
My dad still uses a pager despite the fact he has an iPhone. Then again he is a doctor.
Well, if things get too bad, maybe they can get clearance to fire up the old weather control device they built up at the SMART road after they proved it worked by hitting Corso's car with lightning.
i've been thinking that i've seen it written as 'tech tech vpi' since it's come up on the boards. my wife was a freshman in 99 and so that may be where we got it because we both scream the shit out of it at games.
Marshawn Williams went for 239 and 3 tds last night
The helmet has a lot of potential. The potential to be awesome and the potential to be a disaster. First they need to come up with a pattern so the HokieStone is constructing a dome, otherwise you get that weird warping around the curves. Then they need to put a logo on it so it's not so boring. part of me wants to see a larger stone on either side of the helmet with the "VT" engraved into it.
sorry jerplane1@yahoo.com is the email
It started in 1998, 1999, and 2000, at least as my guess. The incoming Freshman had those "Welcome gifts" that included some pencils/pens, sticky notes, and a VT cup. The VT cup had on it, words to the fight song that included "Tech, Tech, VPI" and not the CORRECT words. I don't know if they still hand out those things at the beginning of the year, because I'd hoped it would correct itself by now, but c'est la vie.
Can you email me with a contact number and plan. I'd be forever grateful.
Allegedly there's a gentleman's agreement not to take a school in the same state as another SEC member school. Prior to A&M joining this would have come from UF, South Carolina, UGA and Kentucky. Bama and Auburn would likely side with UF in blocking FSU because they often compete for the same recruits.
I read in another thread or bitter blog that he's been injured.
I don't trust the GT offense at all. All it takes is a good defensive strategy and you beat it. Between us, Celmson, UNC, and Miami, they will lost at least two of those so that pust them behind in the division.
UNC can score, but their defense is suspect. Miami should beat them no problem and if our defense can contain them, we have a shot, especially playing at home.
Miami is our biggest threat, they have the most playmakers and probably the best coach out of this list of compeition. They have FSU, who they can beat, but even if they lose that doesn't put them out of it.
With us, anything is possible and we can lose to anyone but to me our season will come down to three games: GT, UNC, and Miami.
We have to beat Miami because I think they will lose only one ACC game outside of us, and we have to split with GT and UNC at worst to have a chance.
Every team that has had the option of either joining the Big 12 or going somewhere else went somewhere else. Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri and A&M jumped at offers to leave. Pitt and Syracuse were in negotiations with the Big 12 and chose the ACC instead. Notre Dame talked to the Big 12 and worked out a deal with the ACC instead. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State tried to talk the Pac-12 into taking them before being told "no thanks". The only teams that have actually wanted to join the conference were refugees from the Big East (WVU, TCU, as well as Louisville and Cincy) who wanted to get off the Titanic. Louisville forgot all about the Big 12 once Maryland gave them an out to join the ACC.
Schools end up in a conference with Texas because they have no place else to go. We as fans may believe the ACC is terrible, but schools have chosen the ACC over the Big 12 when they've had the option.
That #5 for Clemson will get after ya. No seriously, he'll give us some problems as did that #51 for ECU. Same type of explosive player on D.
I will upvote this until the cows come home:

THANKS CANADA!!!
