How about we take the energy, thoughts and effort that we are putting into helmets and work on fixing our offense. A top 5 ranking and am eventual crystal ball attract recruits much more than a helmet..
..btw, my opinion is that these are the worst helmets ever...do what someone else mentioned, a hokie stone stripe down the middle, stone stripes on a maroon jersey and cracks some skulls..

The way to beat it was to bust a big play in the running game. It didn't work. Second best was to make them pay for playing soft coverage behind the blitzes, and that was exactly what they did.
NC State should only play on 4th down...apparently thats when they can move.
Refs will always provide an unfair advantage to the team it benefits.
So when I watch our offense it feels like it takes a miracle to reach the 1st down line. A 3ed and 6 for Clemson is no big deal. It's like they run the play they want regardless of the down and distance. I still don't know from a technical football standpoint why it seems so hard for us.

If we take this kid, can we please redshirt him and not let him go full speed on it for two years after his surgery? Adrian Peterson has ruined the whole "ACL tear" thing. He will not be 100% after a year.

I must say though, the receivers for NC State have played pretty marvelous... I suspect we'll surpass that level soon but I can't say our receivers would have made many more better plays than what we've seen tonight. So far from what we've seen this season, anyways. Please don't down-vote me for my opinion :( And Shadrach Thornton? He too is playing fabulous.

Yeah, I agree..Clemson looks much easier to defend without Hopkins or Ellington.
I think they'll get there, it might take more than a year though. I really like State's man-ball offensive style though.
