I gotta agree with him on the pistol a little bit, especially if we're gonna run over left- or right-guard 80% of the time while in it.
SF and WAS only run it because their QBs used something like it in college and it eases their transition, and PHI uses it because it's all Chip Kelly knows (seems like it, anyway). But there is quite a bit of gadgetry involved when you run a pistol offense, much like the Wildcat. Time will tell if it remains at the pro level.

Well, no one can say David Wilson made costly mistakes today. I think the Giants need some more Hokies to bolster their defense.

At this point, I hope the coaches can figure out what to do for the guy to help him for the draft. Honestly, Facyson and Fuller are playing great ball. It's a great problem to have, I suppose, but I root for a guy like Exum. It's a tough question, because can you just take out a guy playing extremely well to see what the guy coming off a serious knee injury can do? Especially when it's more likely than not that your team is going I be in some games where the margin of victory is razor thin with an offense that is not going to scare any ACC foe
Didn't Exum start off as a safety? Why couldn't he take Bonner's spot?
How much would it cost us to get out of our Nike contract? Ever since the noise State game they have been horrible. These and the gray Bama ones look like a little league team. Where's the edge?

When was Exum going to try to make a return? Was it for next week or the week after? I remember seeing a date somewhere but I can't remember now.
I really hope the coaches can find a place for him without changing much. I am really pleased with Facyson and the Fullers. And agreed, they need to play it safe for a while but hopefully they get him up to speed soon. Not just for the team, but for the NFL draft.
His knee does touch and at any rate, he's still down the second he starts dropping his knee. If he "fakes" a kneel, it's 15 yards (pretty sure that's still a thing, someone correct me if I'm wrong). You can clearly hear the whistles before the ASU guy jumps on the ball. I could definitely see some justification for a delay penalty on the defense. Oh, Pac-12 refs....
He also might start on Special Teams, just to get his speed back. I trust the coaches to know how to get him back on the field, the only question is when? Given the nature of his knee injury, caution is key.
And it's well-documented that Coughlin fixed his fumble-itis. Why he won't do the same with DW (if that is the case), I don't know.
