Could we even redshirt them at this point if we wanted to? They've already played in 3 games...
If if's and butts were candy and nuts we'd all have a merry Christmas.
They are not getting redshirted. As you will see in our defensive film review today, both have tremendous value. That is reality. Waste of bandwidth thread.
This is a good problem to have
No kidding. Or whoever he replaces as a starter in the secondary could give it a shot!!
These are garbage, just plain, hot, sitting in the July sun garbage! It looks like an Atari's time of the month!
David is talented but has yet to become a great back..love him to death but that's the way it is..you can't sit there and say tonight proved any different. Eli sucked, we can say tht.
Random question that I've never asked, but... your screen name - have you ever been on death row, are you on death row, or do you work on death row? Something I've always wanted to ask but never have.
I agree. Eli played like shit and brought the team down more than Wilson did today. Oh and by the way, last week, it was Eli with the first turnover. Wilson worked his butt off in today's game, carrying the ball high and tight, fighting for yards (the one run he broke what seemed like ten tackles to turn a loss of two into a gain of three), doing a lot better on blitz pickups. He doesn't deserve what he's getting. He better get more touches next week.
I've never seen a coach so bent on punishing one player for turnovers. It's ridiculous. I know none of the Giants could get it going on the ground today but there was no reason to give up on David after 7 carries. Very few RBs are going to do much with 7 carries. Pretty sure he got no more than one in the second half (as opposed to Jacobs, having not played in like a year, getting 7 off the couch) and Scott getting 5; and both those two combined couldn't even muster 10 yards with almsot twice as many carries as Wilson. It's like Coughlin had decided if Wilson hadn't hit 100 yards by 5 carries there's no use playing him.
Also, f#*@ conference realignment.
haha honestly the comment sections at ESPN always turn into angry jabber and trash talking
My feeling exactly hated the grey in pictures but on the field I really liked them. I'll hold judgment back
Impossible scenario and answer, but I'll say that while Facyson has the picks, Fuller has been better in not only pass coverage but run support as well. He's got a couple TFL's.
And Pitt. F&%$ Pitt.
I haven't used it since Bama. That was not Beamerball.
Also I love that you said "any of the three," completely discrediting Duke and LOLUVA. Turkey leg for you.
I kind of wish people would stop with the 'speshul teams' references...
Anyway, I think any of the three teams could be our competition this year.
I'd actually put GT over Mia. I think handling the triple option is probably harder than a turn over prone Stephen Morris..
Since Facyson has had the more production off the two, it's obvious in hindsight to say that Kendall should be redshirted. But as they say, hindsight is 20/20.
The original comment placed ECU fifth, so I did as well.
Ha ha I hear ya! Grass is always greener right. More of a SUP'r not a surfer. Fun watching these kids surf though amazing.
UNC and Miami, just like you said. Miami will put up points eventually - Morris is too good of a QB not to be effective. Also, Duke Johnson is always a threat. Then with UNC, they may not play well defensively, but they can hang with anyone in terms of putting up points, and if it's us vs. them in a shootout, we saw what will happen with the results of last year's game.
You can't just write-off these two because of deficiencies on one side of the ball. I mean, the Hokies aren't effective on offense thus far this season but without the Speshul Teems mistakes, we're within two scores of Bama at the end of that game.
Exum has just as much a history of huge plays as the two freshmen, combined. He's coming off a 2nd-team All-ACC season at CB after a Honorable Mention All-ACC season at safety (2011). If he's healthy it's no question he starts. The big questions will be whether he is 100% in any game this season.
Tulane?
But then that takes away draft stock from Kyle for the CB position. Our whip spot is more like a 3-4 linebacker in the NFL.
I like how they had to go with "designed runs" and take out sacks to get Bama over 100 yards and make it look respectable ;)

Remember when we used to wear maroon for home games?
Yeah, me neither.
