Not only is it too early to tell how Loeffler is doing at Tech, it may be impossible to ever fairly judge his time at Auburn. He was only there for a year, he didn't have the right personnel for his system, he didn't have a quarterback, there is talk that the head coach wasn't letting Loeffler do what Loeffler wanted to... It's just one of those situations where it's impossible to tell what really happened.
I can say this though. There is no reason to think the offense is getting WORSE then it was last year. That means that the moves Frank Beamer made benefited the team. Now how much will they benefit the team moving forward? It's to early to say. That'll mostly depend on the new coaches ability to bring in top talent, which it appears they are more capable of doing then the previous coaches.
To be honest, I think this thread is a microcosm of what 9/11 did. Here we all are, sharing stories from 12 years ago and we all remember exactly where we were. It was a moment, frozen, that reminded us of what we have in common. Hell, I just learned on this thread that some of my VT alums on here were from Manassas, where I'm from. Beyond the obvious tragedy (note that I didn't know anyone personally victimized), the legacy that I recognize is that our commonalities outweigh our differences, and if September 11th is like this year every year, I'm better off for it. Thanks everyone.
This is great again. Seeing Caleb make a nice cut like that makes me so happy (he went to my high school). So many weapons and seeing the offensive line show cohesion so quickly is really encouraging!
A side question about the running game. I think I've seen French mention that he'd like to see counters (to the back side of the zone blocking with a wham block similar to what Pitt did to us last year) and other plays that work off of these zone runs. Do you think we're hiding these given our offensive game plan against Alabama (spread them out) and Western Carolina (back to basics, gain confidence)? Or are these most likely not part of our playbook? Sorry if this is a poorly worded question.
yeah we started up a meteorology program about 4 years and I'm a current student, haha but thank you! glad i can keep you entertained while teaching you too! I hope we get a big win this weekend I wanna see our O-line keep dominating
I am not a guru but I am opinionated, so I'll say too early to tell. I'll even give Loeffler next year to prove it because we'll lose Logan. We might be starting Leal, who we'll lose again. It might be third year before we can really have an effective measure of these guys. We'll know about Moorehead by the end of the season, though, with the way things have gone.

Sorry, April :( My group shifted weeks anywho, I wouldn't be down until the 21st anyway. Even then, I can't take the time away from school. :(
Are you actually in meteorology or something? These are great. I learn almost as much about weather here as I do about football from French.
This place is just a treasure trove. Yarrr, matey! Ye pirates be warned! East Carolina be a harsh mistress...
Or you can place your red stapler on it and walk away. We stress test applications by putting something on a key and going home for the day sometimes.
So I think all my thousands of votes were discovered to be automated and removed (which they were, so therefore according to the rules, disallowed legitimately). I'm wondering how Texas Tech won last year, though, because it's a tech school with an insignificant fan base, so I figured they would have automated something.
Sea Gull and those were some great summers. Just wish they'd offer a legacy discount, when I have children!
haha no they dont but thanks! I cant take all the credit either professor Carroll is a huge help and my brother helps edit them and check any punctuation failures
great stuff never thought id get pumped from watching us beat western carolina
you're still in school right? do your profs know you're writing these? they should give you some extra credit.
If you go, try not to be too annoyed by that hook thing that the fans will make with their index fingers every five minutes or so. They started that a couple years back.
Please people...unless you're a Longhorn, the college gang sign thing is a rip-off. Stop. This is college, not the Crips.
some of that is pretty basic football stuff. if you dont know most of those than you know about as much about football as i know about hockey. . . and that aint much.
What's the WR in motion (Byrn) supposed to be doing in the first video? Seems to be running a route and doesn't block anybody.
...And gave it to his "opponent"
Hey Diddle Diddle Sam Rogers beat the cat down with his fiddle
The cow didn't jump over the moon, it was thrown into lunar obit by Sam Rogers.
Upon seeing this the little dog pissed himself and was left laughing hysterically in complete terror.
The dish and the spoon were totally booking it
i put this up above in response to someone but not sure if people saw it
if you get the "Vote Again" highlighted, you can just hold space bar down and it will just keep registering votes. much faster and easier. can be watching tv and holding down space bar with one finger
G-Vegas is what locals refer to Greenville as because it's where soldiers from Ft. Bragg, Marines from Cherry Point, and surrounding communities go to party on the weekend. I would suggest leaving downtown before 1 am because my wife (grad degree from ECU) STILL gets the student alerts every Monday talking about people being mugged/shot/attacked walking home from the bars.
Definitely more than they had at the spring game.
This is way too early to discuss and way overthinking his effectiveness as a coach. All I know is it looks pretty good so far and way better organized than the previous regime.

I know this is an entirely different debate (and way far in the future) but I'm not convinced Leal will start next year. I don't know though.
