I do remember that my area was slightly concerned as I live in VA Beach and it was talked about whether they would target Oceana
We played well but it was also WCU... The good news is they are doing it with fundamentals and not just athletic ability. Hopefully we can keep the run game going all season. The key to the offense will be the receivers beating man coverage. If we can force them to bring 8 in the box and play man, we have to be able to beat it.
Well shit.
Way to turn down the invite Horse. Not a very stud-ly thing to do.
My trotting will only be to and from campus that week :( Boo urns.
I'm looking at the gallery...there are a boatload of PeeDee the Purple Pirate photos and videos, from their team and their cheerleaders...anyone know the current cheerleaders, or any MVs, or something? We need pictures of them...
Or...say post the Sam Rogers/Hokie Bird photo from the Legend builds. I mean, that's gotta be worth at least a million points.
You don't need the matlab trial, I am using Ruby and Watir-webdriver, which are free.
However:

I was wondering why I've voted 10,000 times today and the needle wasn't moving. This might be a fools errand.
Well played JT, well played...
Just another fun game of Twister.
Everytime Sam Rogers makes a Defender regret initiating contact, a fairy gets it wings....So many pretty fairys
Ok, how practical would it be if I get the Mat Lab trial?
Not to mention a 15 foot fall if people miss the catch can be pretty devastating to the person being thrown.
If we can do what Lefty did at Temple with a run-heavy offense, I wouldn't mind at all. Can you imagine how much more potent the defense will be, getting lots of time on the sidelines?
Need to start uploading pics....does anyone have any shots lying around of them or anyone else in hokie attire with a football - 100 points - plus I see some bogus ones in the gallery that really shouldn't even count but apparently do
Don't sweat it amigo. I flamed a LOLuva recruit back in the spring and got a lot of deserved down-votes for it for being disrespectful to the kid. Live and learn, enjoy your time at Tech, it ends far too soon. And thanks again if you are going to be serving our country.
Nobody home there this weekend....bye week for the hoos.....that being said, I think Oregon will score on them a couple of times.
Sic-em Bud! Teach them the meaning of Hokie R-E-S-P-E-C-T!
will anyone have the direct link to the internet stream? i'm poor and cant afford cable
It's 50/50 again
Welcome to the club, it comes with the territory. Don't sweat the trolls, just keep on loving them Hokies.
I think getting yelled at about tossing has more to do with how high you throw the girls than much else. My group has only been yelled at twice about it and that was at the beginning of the game when we were all so drunk and full of energy we would get them a good 10 feet up there the first couple tosses. We weren't yelled at after the next score since we were a bit more conservative. Which I can understand, since they tend not to go straight up and down and rouge shoes tend to hurt.
Hey Horse, in the VTCC, they add "Team! Team! Team!" at the end of that cheer. Not sure if that is the official version, but that is how they taught us back in the day.
And the official Fight Song is the one that starts, "Techmen, O Techmen, with spirits true and faithful..." That is the song they used to play after every score, and I assume still do. Having been in Central America the past 5 years, I have missed a lot of games, but I would be disappointed if the official Fight Song has fallen by the wayside. BTW, I can still sing the whole thing 27 years after graduating since we VTCC folks had the thing pounded into our brains. The lyrics are a bit dated, but I love the tradition.
Edit: Looks like somebody else posted the whole thing. You guys are so smart.
I was in 4th grade. They wouldn't let us outside for recess and wouldn't tell us what happened. Eventually the principal took all the 4th and 5th graders and told us what happened. He said not to tell the kids younger than us what happened. There are two days every year that I will never forget. 9/11 and 4/16.

Boo indeed. :(
