PUNTING WAS (AND STILL IS) WINNING AMIRITE?

Will this copy be available for public consumption?

I thought so early in spring when they started working together "officially." At the end of the spring game those two really hit it off well. They had a nice drive going and I was hoping to see more of that. I'm not sure what's up with McCray, it seems like he's always in someone's dog house.

Not to mention the thrown away passes in the Bama game that, to me, are a vast improvement over the sacks LT took last year.

There were times last season where I thought I would have punched a baby if I thought it would make LT just throw it away instead of forcing something that wasn't there.

Logan at least deserves time to get this offense to gel and become something resembling a cohesive unit. I think the next few weeks are a good opportunity to see that happen.

Jesus christ guys we played ALABAMA. Not to mention we played ALABAMA in our first game with THREE NEW OFFENSIVE COACHES. It didn't look pretty but chill out. I'm defending Logan because he can't do shit if the pass hits his receiver in the hands and it's dropped. If his stat line still looks awful (at his fault) in October then I can see calling for Leal.

Question for anyone with knowledge on the TE situation: If Thomas and Mccray are cousins, wouldn't it make sense that they would have some sort of connection that would make for a great "safety blanket" receiver? Maybe he just isn't as far along as DPM but I feel being listed below a true freshmen and a r-soph when you should give him a kick in the rear to make a push up the depth chart.

I think alot of people (like myself) are having a hard time differentiating between what they think will happen and what they want to happen. I THINK it'll be 38-0 bro. I WANT it to be 72 to -7

True. Also, don't forget, Oregon is taking a 5+ hr flight and playing at 9:30 AM their time. Don't be surprised if Oregon starts out a little sluggish. Of course, I also wouldn't be surprised if Oregon comes out and scores 35 in the first quarter, because, well it's Oregon.

You can hear it lots of places outside of Lane Stadium. It's that ridiculous. They were testing the system with Enter Sandman when I was walking home today. Felt rather pumped up just to get home and do homework.

They have been blasting Hotel California like nobodies business. Vibrating the handrails outside of Cassell.

He tries to ice his own kicker and ends up looking like a genius as the pre-timeout kick is wide right, second kick just sneaks into the upright.

Yes. I can agree that Logan was horrid at times last year. But he had to do EVERYTHING last year.

Think about it. In 2011 he had a first round running back, the two best receivers in school history, and 4 senior linemen, many with All-ACC accolades. He just needed to be a game manager, and he did a great job of it. He also was able to step up and contribute because he didn't have the added pressure of making everything happen. It's very representative of what AJ McCarron has been doing the past two years.

Fast forward to last year, Logan had 2 underachieving senior wide recievers, (One of which with a viral video that displayed just how horrid the effort on some plays was), Two freshman running backs, and 4 new, (and terribly coached), offensive linemen. He had to carry the entire offense on his own. Having the pressure of millions of fans and analysts to perform at the level of a top 5 draft pick on top of all that? Ridiculous. He had to do it all. He was a preseason Heisman pick by a lot of people as well. He did have some good moments last year, but he also had some terrible ones. Honestly though, I don't care if you're Tom Brady, if you have that much offensive turnover in a year, things are going to be ROUGH.

Against Alabama he looked significantly better than he did all last season, and that was with an entirely new offensive scheme in place. Do his numbers look bad? Sure do. Last place in the nation right now in QBR. But he still managed to look MUCH better than he did at any point last season in terms of his ability to hit the open receiver.

I Think it's closer than most people think. And by "Closer" I Mean 3-4 touchdown margin of victory. Find it interesting that EVERYONE is picking oregon to completely roll them, Vegas just doesn't give free money away like that (oregon favored by 21/22 points). The casinos/hotels are that big for a reason. Ducks win by a healthy margin, but I think traveling to east coast has some effect on it and UVA's a little better this year than in the past (especially on D)

I was over at the Rec Sports fields (by the tennis complex, if you know where that is) for the past few days, and you can hear them doing the PA testing loud and clear. That sound system is BOOMING! And the board is so big, you can see it clear as day from there.

We ALWAYS called for JuJu over Tyrod.... In garbage time

I dont know French. Comparing Coale to Don Hutson gets the Packers fan in me fired up. But the Hokies fan in me screams THIS IS AWESOME! So much inner conflict...

^^^^Awesome

He uses a timeout? ;-)

It's an absolute trav-a-sham-a-mockery that middle school kids can't be middle school kids anymore.

It also speaks volumes on how #LOLUVA does recruiting. This reeks of desperation. London realizes if he keeps pulling 4-5 stars, his job is going to be safe regardless of his W-L record. He can always say "Listen I know we went 4-8, but look at all of the 757 4-stars we're bringing in. We're going to be a dominant in three years."

But, he'll be a pretty good QB for Charlie Weis to work with.
