47 - 10 Oregon, and that's only because the coaching staff decides to put actual ducks on the field for the fourth quarter.

You should just come to the game instead... I hear there are still tickets available! :)

The only one I can recall was the one where Knowles was burning someone deep and Logan beat him by a step or two. I saw someone else say that if you are going to miss Knowles on a route like that, try to miss him deep. He'll be past the DB and with his speed there's a decent chance you won't overthrow him anyway.

Even though Oregon is going to curbstomp UVA, and it's going to get ugly, the Ducks' cheerleaders are will make the day better for everyone

I'd be more interested to see the 3rd down breakdown per game, than an average across the season to see if there are any outlier games in which we had really good position on 3rd downs.

LMAO I second this motion

The reason NFL has a preseason is so coaches can evaluate talent, test some new play designs etc. But a big plus of preseason is getting the team used to game planning each week and going out to play each opponent hard. It bugs me when I see such vanilla offenses being played and Virginia Tech being put under a lot of pressure (Arkansas St 2011 comes to mind here). Every week is an opportunity to teach the players, to game plan and to play hard regardless of opponent.

I think that was a product of coaching and recruiting. I think now that the offensive staff has been revamped you will likely see more consistent candidates coming in. We already have a QB and entire O-Line with a WR or 2 and a RB or 2 coming in for next year. One of the better offensive recruiting classes I have seen.

For sure. It just occurred to me we didn't see Logan overthrow any one. That one pass that was about 20 yards and a bit too high for stanford can't really be considered overthrown since if it was lower it would have been picked...but last year I was so used to logan overthrowing all the short routes. He didn't really do that this game.

Greys were really bland because whoever designed them used the Nike website and was limited by their color selection and jersey selection. This brings me to my ultimate point...Our past decade of uniforms can be designed on Nike's website (with a few tweaks here and there). Why hasn't Virginia Tech gone and had Nike design a really nice, unique, Nike Pro Combat Design that they can wear game after game and still look good in? UNC did it this past year and it looks great.

I think I'm going to start nicknaming London TimeCop.

Turkey leg for your avatar

He is pretty sexy...

You guys are right London might Ice his own kicker HA!

I wouldn't put it past Loeffler to put in a few quick-hitting FB dives, especially with a guy like Coleman coming in motion to freeze linebackers/safeties. He's already got more carries than any FB last year too.

Yup, 4 BCS bowls and a chicken bowl after losing game one. We even won 3 of those 5 bowl games after dropping game 1.

LOLUVA would have lost by 60 and not scored.

We should add Marcus Vick :/ kidding lol

It stinks how we get behind at a different position each year. If its not OL it's RB or WR..

That's exactly where my friend got it from!

76 - 6 Ducks, case of Sam Adams Oktoberfest, and UVA will only win 4 games this season. The game with BYU looked no different the the Penn St victory last year other then BYU not missing 8 FGs. There were no obvious improvements even with 5 additional loser head coaches.

Hahaha that clip was awesome. Someone should post it on the UVA fan sites..I can't since I've been block from most of them on Facebook.
